  1. Yeah, Oregon is definitely not a pretender. Having a strong football program isn’t new for the Ducks, but I do think they are taking the next step under Lanning. The exposure they will gain from joining the B1G will likely help on most fronts as well. One thing I find impressive is that they are beginning to recruit very well from high school and from the portal. I don’t mean this in a condescending way at all, Oregon has recruited well in the past, but doing it at the level they are currently is very impressive in the state of Oregon. For example, the Ducks don’t have the ridiculous amount of talent so close to them like southern schools do. But I do agree, with this success so comes the so called “rat poison”. It can certainly be a real thing that can have negative effects. Hopefully the Ducks don’t experience any negative issues with this. I’ve faith that this is not something that Lanning will overlook.
  2. The Ducks will be very good this season. Yet, it’s just too early to tell how good. I don’t think it’s a stretch to think Oregon may go undefeated in the regular season. The schedule is tough, but it isn’t brutal. tOSU game will be the tell and they come to Eugene. Who knows right now though? I think Oregon has a better chance of going undefeated than many top teams, including my Dawgs. While the schedule is tough, I think it will set up well for the Ducks. I think the GA schedule is really tough, be hard to win every game. I thought GA’s schedule was really bad until I glanced at Florida’s schedule. If you haven’t seen theirs take a look. It’s ridiculous!!! I almost feel sorry for them,……. Almost!
  3. GA has two players at safety that I would consider elite talents. Starks and Bolden. Bolden is a freshman though. Dan Jackson has experience and will likely be a big contributor. The others I’m kinda waiting to see, if I’m remembering correctly not much experience so we will see. So it doesn’t surprise me that GA is interested in picking up a safety. GA must like something about Gill. I’m sure Lanning and Smart have a good relationship so this is likely a good move for GA. One thing about Gill that GA probably likes is his size. No receiver loves the idea of a 220lb safety lurking somewhere in the field.
  4. A focus on Ohio State🤣, that explains this garbage of an article. This trash is so ridiculous that it doesn’t even piss me off, it just makes me laugh. Agenda or no, as a sports writer Fisher should be ashamed to have his name associated with such drivel.
  5. I’m extremely excited to watch both Beck and Gabriel this season. I expect both of them to play at an elite level this Fall. They will both be leading offenses that, barring terrible injury luck, will be loaded with great talent across the board! From the RBs to the pass catchers and O-lines, I don’t anticipate any weaknesses from either offense. In fact I expect the opposite. I don’t know which of these QBs to give an edge to at this point. The one thing I’m sure of is that I can’t wait to watch how things play out this season! Go Dawgs!!! & Go Ducks!!!
  6. I’m a Falcons fan and I’m excited that we got Dorlus. I don’t really understand the Penix jr pick at #8 after making the Cousins deal. 🤷🏻 I like Penix, I just seems odd for Atlanta to make this pick. We are in win NOW mode, and there were tons of players that likely could have made a heavy impact right away.
  7. Yeah, the start of Joey’s NFL career is similar to David Carr’s. I think they were drafted the same year and both put into all but impossible situations for a young QB. I honestly think both might have been very good under different circumstances
  8. Maybe so, I’m excited to watch James Madison. Those guys play tough. I think they play Duke so it will be hard but you never know.
  9. Outstanding game! Tough loss, but the Ducks represented Oregon extremely well!
  10. Holy Smokes!!! This is crazy, I love it! Lets Go Ducks!!!
  11. Dante is the man! 22 points, 17 rebounds so far, and great defense!
  12. Not a bad half. I’ll take being within two points. Keeping Couisnard and Dante on the floor is critical. Hopefully the Bluejays continue to struggle shooting. As others above stated though, we certainly can’t expect that to happen. Go Ducks!!!
  13. Is someone going to make a game thread? Go Ducks!!!
  14. Hats off to Oakland, they played a very good game!
  15. Oakland has their first lead of the night!!!
  16. The Cougs are tied at the half! Never know, maybe they hang in there
  17. I wish Oregon and UGA would’ve had a home and home instead of one game in Atlanta. It still makes me chuckle remembering how the media considered that a neutral site game.
  18. Apologies, I was mistaken. @Jon Joseph was pointing out the Ole Miss and Missouri schedules over the next two years.
  19. Not at all. I don’t consider them major rivals but I’ve no love for them. Although, I might start liking them even less ever since @Jon Joseph pointed out to me their schedule over the next two years.
  20. Not necessarily, but I’ll make an exception for the Zags.😂 The Ducks are always my #2 team though. And I mean that in the best possible way! 😂🤣😂
  21. They have been such a strong program since 1999, I wouldn’t mind seeing them finally win it all after being so close. Of course not if they have to beat Oregon! 😂
  22. Yeah, looked like Kansas’s lack of depth showed its ugly head. They were dragging in the second half.
  23. Wow, Zags shot excellent all game!
  24. Gonzaga and Kansas is great game so far!
  25. Oh well, I was hoping for a better finish but Grand Canyon took care of business in the final minutes. Good for them! Between GCU and James Madison there are two very dangerous 12 seeds advancing. JMU looked very good earlier tonight. They play a vicious brand of basketball. Both of these teams play very good defense.
