The current negative vibe will do one of two things, it will make the coaches/players turn on each other, or they will come together and become stronger as a unit. If they become stronger, it will become a turning point for all involved, especially for DL. If they turn on each other, personnel changes will be necessary. The coaching profession is based upon winning. I don’t ever want to see a win at all costs environment at Oregon. Firing someone is an easy option, but in this profession, if you don’t replace them with someone who has immediate success( not so easy ), you can create a downward spiral. I still believe.

It is a shared payday for the conference. Of course you play.

Lol…I stopped counting, and refused to look at the stats of this game…just my way of not letting a game ruin an entire weekend.

Watched that hit, while it was a dirty play that targeted our QB, it was not a hit that kept him on the turf. Dylan popped up and was immediately ready for the next play. He gave nobody a reason to believe he had injured ribs, or any other physical injury. He was sailing passes over receivers heads before the hit, and under throwing his passes afterwards. 5 turnovers, poor offensive scheme, and sub par QB play from our starter is what really happened.

Some days it is easier to love our Ducks than others…

I’m Natty would be nice, but the University just received $1 billion from the guy that drove the Nike bus to become the most influential sports company in the world. They can release as many uniforms for this team that they want. Enjoy the ride for what it is worth…we have had front row seats for something that may never happen again.

It’s SUC…they don’t need to practice a two minute offense. The players were clueless about how much time was on the clock. That should be embarrassing to the entire coaching staff.

A good win for both the team and Duck fans. The best part was that it was the first time in years that the Coliseum was sold out…evidence that SUC fans were gaining confidence that Riley is their guy, and they had an elite team…The Ducks gave them a reality check.

If I had been granted one wish for the University of Oregon, it would not have had nearly the impact on it that Phil and Penny Knight have had over the years. This is how you pay it forward.

So far this season DM has not played like an elite QB. I have had the sense that DM is in the “don’t mess this up mode”, versus the try to stop this passing play mode. Personally, I think it is a combination of an OC issue, and DM issue that needs to be fixed immediately.

Wasnt defending Mixon, just pointing out he played a little over half the possible snaps on defense.

Correct me if I am wrong, but both Boise State backs averaged less than 4 yards per carry, and Jerry Mixon actually split playing time with Dylan Williams. Mixon played 38 snaps.

I want to get a read on how physical our defense will play this year, and whether the O line gives DM an opportunity to throw downfield from the pocket. Then, find out early who is QB2.

Yep…need a VPN connected to a server in the US to bypass restricted licensing areas when traveling. Nord works well from Mexico.

Interested to see our offensive tackles get after it. Crader, Bennett III, perhaps sprinkle in some youth at times with Iheanacho, and/or Tofi. With our defense loaded, I really want to see how they use Koi Perich. This could be a fun year for this guy..I mean who wouldn’t want to play safety on this defense…
