Fear of the Blowout
"What did Alabama look like in the decade before Saban?" they have like 16 or 18 depending on the view. 16 undisputed. 7 under Saban I think Haywarduck 1

Fear of the Blowout
I am wondering what changes have been made to our O-line. I saw it get stuffed by Utah twice, and by a very average Oklahoma team. We couldn't create a hole a mouse could squeak through, much less protect the QB. What has changed so much in 5 months that we can now score against a much better defensive line then Utah's? Reports out of Georgia say they are in mid season form conditioning wise. I have family there. I knew they were taking us much more serious than Ohio State did. And Georgia destroyed Michigan, which destroyed Ohio State, which then beat Utah, who destroyed us. Just a few months ago. For this to not be a blow out we need 28 points. To win we need 40. Georgia's offense will not miss a beat from when they played Alabama. Unless people think our defense is better than Alabama's was last year? So I am hoping Mr. Perkins is correct, but there are plenty of signs that point to a blow out. Just my thoughts

Who Do You Think is Gonna be the Break Out Star for Our Offense this Season?
My daughter thinks 7 could be used like De Anthony was.

Who Do You Think is Gonna be the Break Out Star for Our Offense this Season?
Cardwell is my choice to out of backfield. A run game is so needed this year.

I'm picking our cheerleaders and band. We are going to be so far ahead of most games, that additional entertainment will be necessary.

Food for Thought on Bo as a Starter With One Week Out
I hear you and I could certainly be mistaken.

Food for Thought on Bo as a Starter With One Week Out
"If Bo Nix is handed the starting job I am not anticipating him to all of the sudden become a TD passing machine" Why not? Best O-line in the pac 12, second best set of receivers in the Pac, and playing against very weak SECONDARIES all season. Not against(Alabama, Georgia,Florida, and LSU). Bo's played against the best of the best his entire career(all while running for his life) Its gonna be Disneyland for him after Georgia. All of this is assuming our O-line, and running game, is going to be as good as most of you think.

Good Read on Dawg Site of Georgia/Oregon
"This season’s OL might be the best in UGA history. I expect them to dominate the LOS. Front 7 on D will do the same if Zion does his job well. He can’t fill JD99’s shoes but he has to make opposing OLs pay for doubling JC88." I took this off the reply board in the above mentioned article. I researched this. He isn't kidding folks. And their D line we keep calling young really isn't. They rotated so much last year that this seasons replacements have experience. (they played in NC game) Not being negative, but we better show up to play, because we will be playing a team that is a legit top 4 right now. Not later on in the season, but right now.

Media Value of Conference and Oregon--Not What We Want...
Maybe they wont invite Oregon because we could become a serious threat to Ohio State's conference championship runs. USC will become a serious threat now in a few years. Maybe they do not want another one from Oregon? Two teams from big will go every year when they move to 8 team play-off. Just imagine if it was Oregon and USC, not Ohio State. I'm sure they think about that stuff. probably way off base but they don't seem to want Oregon even though we are a major brand.

Trojans Wire: 'We Can Debate USC vs Utah, But Trojans Are Clearly Better Than Oregon'
- Georgia Fan Base Delusional
I cant really argue with you there. I must admit I was think offensively only. We will be losing a bunch on Defense now that you brought it up. UGH! I have been saying all along Bo is going to light up the Pac-10. (And I am bound to be right about something sooner or later). A decent showing in Georgia is enough to keep us in NC talks. And if I am right about Bo a play off game or big 6 bowl is possible.- Trojans Wire: 'We Can Debate USC vs Utah, But Trojans Are Clearly Better Than Oregon'
One of the best posts I've ever read!- Georgia Fan Base Delusional
I never said that. It was another writer. I think they match up better than most teams do. But no they are not on same level as Bama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State. Not when depth is included. My guess on score was Georgia 44-20. 24-3 at half. Mostly because new coach, new receivers, rookie running backs, etc. We are young and inexperienced with a new scheme and coaching staff. And its gonna be in front of 100,000 rabid fans who want nothing short of total annihilation. If coached as well, as many think they will be, I would pick ducks to face USC in PAC-12 title game. If our line is what others say it is, and our backs are as good as many say, then I see no reason were not facing Utah with just one loss. My concern is that we are one full season away, may two, depending on QB development , from beating Georgia at Georgia. I am Still high on Ducks and hopeful on Lanning.- Georgia Fan Base Delusional
Georgia's secondary is considered even better this year. That is intact. They lost defensive lineman and backers mostly. (5 first rounders) They lost 15 from both sides to NFL draft. Georgia was able to do a "bunch" of substituting last year, so the starters this year are not rookies like most may think. In fact the line talent is so good at Georgia, they lost two 5 star lineman commits this year already, because they knew they wouldn't start right away. If they do not measure up its in the offensive experience category. New receivers, new running backs, new QB, new coach, etc...- Trojans Wire: 'We Can Debate USC vs Utah, But Trojans Are Clearly Better Than Oregon'
USC may be fielding the best passing attack in all of college football. Plus they have one of the top running back duo's. If they develop a scheme like Washington State did under leach they will be unstoppable. Leach did not have Alabama linemen and they stomped us a few times. USC has the receivers to beat anyone heads up. Quick slants and passes to the flats, a missed tackle later and its see you... I agree the O line is USC's weak link on offense. But they don't need to throw 50 yard bombs to score 40 points per game. All the line has to do is hold for 2-3 seconds. Crazy as this may sound, if Leach were coaching them this year, I would bet we see USC in Pac-10 title game not Utah.- How Loyal Will Dan Lanning Be to Oregon? (Here is the Answer)
Well I feel certain he will stay here at least until he gets a better offer.- Should Fans Feel Compelled to Contribute to NIL?
Once college football became professional football I started treating it as such. So not only will I not contribute to the NIL I've stopped buying merchandise as well. NIL will destroy "team sports." You want to block for a guy driving a Rolls Royce to practice while you are eating mac and cheese? They will have to pay all players or this will backfire?- Georgia Fan Base Delusional
Go ducks- Matching Up: Oregon Offense vs Georgia Defense
I really wish this was later in the season. So much of our talent and new schemes are just going to take time to develop. This happened to Ohio State last year. We beat them by 7 or so I think. But by seasons end they beat the team that killed us. I think that may be us this season? I truly hope Utah beats Florida. That too will be big boy football with the SEC having all the advantages. Huge weekend for the PAC.- Ducks Went Down to Georgia: Looking for a Game to Steal
"Their backups, were their backups for a reason." The reason is because they were freshmen and sophomores behind first round draft picks. Just saying. And now they too will be first and second round choices this year. Love your enthusiasm though.- Scott Frost, Nebraska Coach, Says O-Linemen Vomit 10-15 Times Per Practice
I honestly do not know what to say to that. But I cannot help but think they will be a tougher bunch for it. Thats commitment.- Ducks Went Down to Georgia: Looking for a Game to Steal
From the articles I've read, based on that very question, Georgia has a distinct advantage.- Scott Frost, Nebraska Coach, Says O-Linemen Vomit 10-15 Times Per Practice
I must admit Oregon's glory days were largely in part to our superior conditioning. We worked harder in practice then the other teams did. So the concept of hard work producing results is valid. But in today's culture perhaps it should be an individual's choice. Now if he wins the BIG, Nebraska fans will be cool with philosophy of "vomiting your way to the top." If he does not, then he will be a vicious task master, and looking for another job. - Georgia Fan Base Delusional
