  1. Alabama vs Texas This is the game I was hoping for last week in Atlanta.
  2. Bo threw a perfect 50 yard bomb that got picked. There are only 3 defensive backs in the game that make that play. Against anyone but Bama, or, Georgia, that drive would have scored. Were not playing anymore semi-pro teams this season so I expect offensive numbers to soar against the defenses from here on out. Utah is the exception. Bo had time to throw the deep ball, our receiver was fast enough to get to it, it just so happened a mutant defensive back, with a 48 inch vertical, and 4.38 speed was with him. Tip your hat to a great defensive play, not a bad throw. The other pic...grrrrr Bo throws for over 400 yards and we rush for 200+ more. Bank it! I said it from the beginning; Bo is the best option for winning now. I think if Lanning is planning on staying for 5 years or more, he will work in a different QB, and play for next season. However; I believe he is leaving for the BIG or SEC so expect him to start Bo for remainder of season. Cant risk a loss on the resume with a rookie QB, if your leaving in a year or so. Just my thoughts
  3. just do first half stats to get a more realistic take. Georgia backed way off in second half
  4. Remember when we had Chip who couldn't recruit Santa Claus to the North Pole? And yet we won rose bowls and played in NC games. His players puked before and after practice. They stayed in shape all year long. I remember the culture then. Oregon beat you with heart!!! Well The SEC saw our little guys doing pretty good against premier big guys and must have asked how that was possible. And they saw the excitement that high speed, never rest, in your face, catch me if you can, see you...was bringing to college football. So Nick Satan and his fellow SEC demons wised up and said we can do that too. And they did. Georgia is exactly what Oregon was only with much bigger, stronger, and just as fast players. Oregon lost both NC games but they belonged there! Oregon changed college football forever, and in doing so, may have sealed its own fate.
  5. Did Bo give up 49 points? Even against third stringers.
  6. They looked out of shape, out of position, and uninspired. Is that on the coaches?
  7. I will pay someone to delete it...
  8. I tried to delete my post. Please go in and do it for me. Thank you.
  9. I agree. I said from the beginning Georgia will field the best offense in all of college football. I do not even mind losing 49-3. Thank you Mr Smart or it could have been much worse. I am concerned that we looked slow, confused, and lost. That is my concern.
  10. I never precited his demise. I said I be What I will remember is a very unprepared football team. what will be said after BYU?
  11. Neither one of those coaches inherited a team that had a rating, talent wise, of a top ten team. You cannot cast judgement later on unless we play Georgia again. Playing in the B league the rest of season will not be an honest comparison.
  12. I think he will choose to go to either the BIG or the SEC. Its where the action is, and will be from now on. Hes getting some experience, and then he will get a call, and adios baby. Just my thoughts.
  13. Alabama's Heisman hopeful will trow at-least one pic against Georgia and he has much better receivers and lineman. QB is NOT the problem, we've became Phil's premadonna's. Georgia came for war...Oregon showed up for a fashion show. I will be banned if I say what I am really thinking. But I will risk one more thought. Lanning is gone after this season or next. He will head back to SEC. He isn't quite the defensive genius when he doesn't have 8 defensive players that went in first round...Just saying...and Georgia's defense looked just as good without him. BYU 34 Oregon 21 I also called the game against Georgia 24-3 at half. It was even worse.
  14. Georgia had every advantage, and they returned an offense that hung 33 points on Alabama last year. In fact, I think the Offense we just saw from Georgia, is Better than last year Championship team. Take away the two pics by Bo, against one of the best secondary's in the country, and his numbers are good. Anyway, I'm really hoping now that Utah beats Florida!
  15. It is Alabama, Georgia, and everybody else. #2 Ohio State loses to Georgia today by 30 if it was in Columbus! You will see I am right before this season is over. I saw a good college team today(Oregon) playing against a really good semi-pro team. Although I think Bo still could light it up in PAC play this year, playing a younger QB may be a wise call now. I'm cool either way.
  16. Georgia 44-17 1 turn over 1 sack 134 passing yards
  17. Look, I'm allowed to read interesting posts, articles, and reply all for free. Complaining about a few ads is like getting a free Rib-eye steak and complaining it wasn't quite hot enough. So go to the other sights and listen to the ad free mindless drivel.
  18. Compare that conference, if adding the above mentioned teams, to the SEC or BIG. Were going to be a B league. And I believe Utah, along with both Arizona schools, will join the Big 12.
  19. The problem with having 5th year seniors, is that it usually means none of them are NFL caliber. Which is fine unless your playing an elite team
  20. Yes there are plenty of people who do not think they will cover the spread. Home game for Georgia, 100,000 fans creating an atmosphere nobody has experienced except Bo Nix, Traveling 2000 miles away, head coach with ZERO experience, new coordinators, new schemes, no proven running backs, unproven offensive line, back up QB's with zero experience, I could go on. Were up against the most feared individual lineman in college football, and one of the top 3 defensive lines in the nation, and an offense (almost all are returning) that hung a lot of points on the Alabama defense just a few moths ago. So ya there are plenty who feel we will not cover the spread. Does that mean we are not Duck fans? If I want "likes" and hand "claps" I say, "Gonna be a great game, could go either way..." But when my kid called for advice, on betting the spread, in Vegas I told her my honest thoughts. Georgia will be up 24-3 at half. Kirby makes his point, calls the Dawgs off in the second half. Final score Georgia 44-13 Then Georgia cruises into playoffs after losing to Bama in SEC Championship yet again. No pressure on Ducks? I say there is tons of it. The entire credibility of the PAC rides on Utah and Oregon this week-end. If we both lose you can put a fork in the Pac. (As national contenders). And that will affect recruiting in a few years.
  21. You think we will only create 4 turnovers? Charles meant for the entire game, not just first half.
  22. Reminds me of Mike Tyson's famous line. "Everybody's got a plan, until you've been hit."
  23. Ya, but you probably think angry charging grizzly bears are scary too.
