Special Teams? Iowa returns a KO 99 yards for a TD.

Oklahoma State won at West Virginia today, and the Cowboys are now 3-1 and except for the Tulsa opener have piled up a lot of yards on offense (just as they did when the roster played for North Texas - 20 players transferred from N. Texas including QB)

On another note, I did watch just a bit of UCLA's win today. They were showing some inventive mis-direction plays on offense and will be tough for opposing defenses.

Honestly this is the perfect time for a bye, allows us to give all the snaps to Raiola, prepare for a really inventive offense, and a general reset after the adversity of the first 4 weeks.

Wish we had a bye later in the year though since it's going to be a long stretch of games to end the regular season.

Raiola looked great today and many of the commentators on my favorite dawg forum suggested that perhaps he should become the Ducks starter (while acknowledging that Lanning will likely hand the job back to Dante, not willing to "Wally Pipp" him for an injury).

I'll be rooting for both guys as the season plays out. But be forwarned that the power B1G teams are quite aware that Dylan is a statue in the pocket and that his efficiency passing goes way down when pressured. So our offensive coaches need, IMO, to work the offensive front hard to improve their pass protection if/when Dylan comes to play a lot.

Not gonna lie, I actually did pretty damn well on these picks 😂

I went 13 for 16 on winners, which is 81.25%.

The three I missed were Louisville over Wake Forest, Michigan over Iowa, and Penn State over Wisconsin.

I’m probably happiest about picking Florida over #4 Ole Miss and Mississippi State over #19 Missouri. Those weren’t just easy “pick the higher ranked team” calls either. Florida absolutely hammered Ole Miss 52 to 28, and Mississippi State beat Missouri 31 to 24 after I had predicted 30 to 27.

A few of the score predictions were surprisingly close too. I had Miami winning 52 to 7 and they won 52 to 3. I had Texas Tech winning 48 to 10 and they won 49 to 14. I also had Texas winning by four and they ended up winning by three.

So yeah, 13 out of 16 on the winners. I’ll take that 😂

Im very happy with yesterdays win and just want to take it one game at a time. What happens at the end of the season will be what it will be.
