My friends, you gotta wait a bit for the Tweet to load, but baby, try watching that--especially the end without your eyes glistening a touch.

As the forest fire smoke continues to roll in and the air quality deteriorates, my fingers are crossed that it won’t get worse and the game is played as scheduled. 🤞

Autzen is a true gem. Not sure how many games I have gone to over the years, but if I were to guess it must be getting close to 100. Nothing like a sunny Mid-October game day along the Willamette river.
 

Not so sure the forecast temperatures in the high nineties tomorrow is quite as enjoyable.

Might have to wear a mask but not because of covid.

I have to say it, 'It's never smoky in Autzen Stadium!' 

There have been 'fog bowl' games played in Autzen, where some spectators were delighted to actually see the ball pop above the fog on an occasional pass attempt.

 

I think the smoke will not approach that level of impenetrability today. Hopefully the existing ash is vacuumed up prior to kickoff.

 

 

 Have to admit I’ve been in the fog several times tailgating at Autzen. Fell over the bank at the Boy Scout parking lot into the blackberries. 🍺🍺🍺. Well enough about me.
