  1. Past hour

  2. The offense was good on the final drive - that is what is startling to me. The same guys (with exception of QB) who were terrible all game, all of a sudden, learned how to play football. By the way, when a QB came in who was a threat to go deep, the O line could block. Probably because 5 didn't have to block all 11. What surprises me in a bad way is how bad Thomas was today and how bad Raiola was vs UCLA. What are they doing in practice all week that they can't get ready for Saturday? And I am surprised in a good way how good the defense has gotten since the first two games.
  3. Easy - That the offense is so bad. But as Raiola said “we preserved in the end”. 🤣 A couple of things: 1) I can’t believe Lanning waited that long to make the switch, but I guess it worked. 2) The defense is really, really good.
  4. Limited to those two: that our offense is bad. What actually surprises me is that our offense seemed limited for three quarters two games in a row, and then improved.
  5. Charles, the most surprising thing to me was that DL left Brock in for 3 quarters. Huh?! How can we be surprised about the crappy offense? We have seen it before. We have won before. For me, that was the most boring game I've ever watched beginning to end ... AND with the most exciting finish.
  6. Reminds me of the downfall of Helfrich. He did good his first year with Chip's players, then it tanked. Lanning can bring in the player talent, but he is garbage on offense unless he brings in a top tier OC.
  7. That the offense was so bad. Seventeen Points. Thought we would lose. But I won my bet... Never again
  8. I am amazed, speechless, and asked myself that same question, Charles. I think though up reflection, the offense.
  9. Which is more surprising to you....that we won, or that our offense is so bad?
  10. I would be shocked if the boosters would be willing to sit back and watch another year of this. For as much as they are spending, they are going to want to see accountability and change.
  11. I just don't get why it took this long to make the change, it's inexcusable, Thomas has shown no ability to drive the ball, at least Raiola has proven he can win at this level, it's simply insane that Lanning waited this long simply because he likes Thomas as a former walk on. If I was defensive player I would be pissed. We can not throw these screen passes, it makes no sense whatsoever.
  12. Today

  13. After watching 3 quarters of this football game, I think our offense was ruled out of the game too.
  14. Raiola looks much better, but still almost nobody getting open.
  15. This reminds me of some of the early 1980s teams, with good defenses and no offense. It occurred to me.
  16. I live life between 1am and 6pm m-f. Yet here I am. The saying is true "we love a good train wreak"
  17. With week we get worse. So punt on first down and hope for the best?
  18. So let me get this straight. Your offense has not converted a 3rd down in 6 quarters of football and you have 57 yards of offense and you start using your timeouts to get the ball back in hopes you can go 90 yards with no timeouts at the end of the half with a 3rd string walk-on QB? Mario thought that was idiotic. If Lanning doesn’t clean house on the offensive side of the ball after this game…..
  19. I don't understand football at this point. Two top ten wins, sandwiching two absolute two abysmal blowout losses to teams that won't be ranked by the end of the season. I don't want to hear about this nine game conference thing as an excuse. ESPN is trying was trying to push that crap before both Alabama and Georgia lost. If you can't get up for every game, that's on you.
  20. Getting screwed by the refs, two calls that should have been overturned. Lanning with the assist calling the timeout, nice job coach!
  21. Oregon is down to their third string QB. I don't know what Nebraska's excuse is for this OFFENSIVE offense, other than Oregon has guys playing up to their potential on the defensive line. This has been a good old fashioned SLOBBERKNOCKER as Jim Ross would say. Just as I say this, Nebraska puts together their best drive. Come on Ducks, I need to have a team to cheer for in the playoffs.
