  1. Andrew doubling down on this information. If this is accurate, this is far from good.
  2. This is a very sad story. I hope his condition continues to improve. That game against Wazzu was something else.
  3. Ouch! Pretty brutal article about the state of the men’s basketball program. You can read for free by entering your email and selecting non-paying subscriber and confirming your email.
  4. The SEC needs to update their slogan. “It just meant more”. Fixed.
  5. IMO, if you go to 76, at a minimum, you need to give both the regular season conference winner and the conference tourney winner auto bids. That would add some more non-power teams to the field.
  6. “This past season he shot 43.6 percent from the field, 23.5 percent on threes,” Oregon gambling on another Power 4 SG that struggles to shoot the ball? This has not worked very well for Oregon in the past. Let’s hope Easter can make a big jump in production and efficiency next season on offense.
  7. I am starting to get a little worried. With Bowen committing, that is essentially 7 forwards on the roster. I know some of them are stretch players, but it might be time to look at a true guard or true center? PF- Stewart, Compton, Bowen, and Harrison. SF - Riley, Meadow, and Ariza
  8. Fingers crossed, but I would be extremely shocked if Oregon came out on top for Stokes. How would they have NIL funds for this? Even if they did, they still need to spend on positions of need (center and PG). They already have two SFs on the roster, correct?
  9. I am okay sticking with Altman. He deserves another year IMO. My concern is that for every guy you get that makes the jump from G6 to Power 5 like Simpkins did, there is a whole list that do not. Recently for Oregon that list includes RaHeim Moss, Jesse Zarzuela, Amauri Hardy, Aaron Estrada, etc. There are some big time players in the portal, but Oregon is not in the discussion for them right now. I guess that is disappointing.
  10. The G5 kids are rolling in. I guess that is the only play if you have very limited NiL money.
  11. A couple of G5 guys right now that can score the ball. Good to see someone come in with a decent shooting percentage in college. It has been a while (other than Simpkins). Hopefully, these guys can make the jump like Simpkins did last season.
  12. Nice. Another guy that can shoot. 50%+ from the floor and 38%+ from three
  13. They should take a hard look at Aristode from Arizona. He was injured for part of the year, but he is a 6’8” wing that is long and athletic and shot 47% from three last year.
