So let me get this straight. Your offense has not converted a 3rd down in 6 quarters of football and you have 57 yards of offense and you start using your timeouts to get the ball back in hopes you can go 90 yards with no timeouts at the end of the half with a 3rd string walk-on QB? Mario thought that was idiotic. If Lanning doesn’t clean house on the offensive side of the ball after this game…..

I don't understand football at this point. Two top ten wins, sandwiching two absolute two abysmal blowout losses to teams that won't be ranked by the end of the season. I don't want to hear about this nine game conference thing as an excuse. ESPN is trying was trying to push that crap before both Alabama and Georgia lost. If you can't get up for every game, that's on you.

Oregon is down to their third string QB. I don't know what Nebraska's excuse is for this OFFENSIVE offense, other than Oregon has guys playing up to their potential on the defensive line. This has been a good old fashioned SLOBBERKNOCKER as Jim Ross would say. Just as I say this, Nebraska puts together their best drive. Come on Ducks, I need to have a team to cheer for in the playoffs.

Oh my goodness. This is beyond atrocious. For us to have any hope of winning, I think our defense is going to have to score at least two touchdowns.

Seem like you can throw three times and complete one pass for 3 yards or rush 3 times for 3 yards. How is an offensive coordinator to choose?

Part of Lanning's job is to have a plan ready if QB1 goes down. He is learning some things on the fly. Nix, Gabriel, and Dante last year shielded him from that dilema.

Maybe we should continuously run fake punts. We have a great punter.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many punts so quickly. Eventually the defenses will tire out a bit maybe.

Here is thebreakdown of the first three run plays: Play 1: Guard-tackle counter. TE #9 Johnson missed his block by heading toward a player who was already being double-teamed by two of our linemen. The safety came flying in unblocked and stopped the runner for no gain. If Jacory makes his block, that play goes. Play 2: Pull play where the guard pulled and completely missed blocking the edge defender, running right by him. The edge defender made the play for no gain. Play 3: Guard-tight end counter. #55 Utu came over on the pull, and the edge defender (#5) completely stood him up. Bottom line: We called three gap scheme run plays and ended up with two missed blocks and a guard who couldn't displace a defender standing still despite having a full head of steam.

Just run it every time, then quick kick on 3rd down.
