I sure hope so!!

Pretty sure he has a gold platted memo about this on his desk with the initials PK at the bottom.

Yeah. There’s no way it’s gonna be Johnson. If that experiment didn’t work perfectly, Lanning would probably end up on the hot seat. He has to go get a proven coach.

Ever Seen a Quarterback Like Raiola?
Leftguard Tommy Tofi is very, very good!

Lanning better look outside the program. Johnson did well for us but is not the long term solution. Johnson was effectively a defibrillator paddle on the Ducks offense and gave it some life but don't forget that in it's current state this offense still has cancer and needs some serious work.

I believe losing their QB to injury was a big part of being left out. Not saying I agree with the decision.

This nonsense that you illustrate is why I am glad for the 24 team Playoff; regardless of the corrupt rankings....you can earn your NC on the field. Thank you for your coverage Jon!

Mike Norvell’s firing gives Oregon a dream offensive coordinator candidateFlorida State’s decision to fire Mike Norvell may clear up Oregon’s OC searchWhile interim playcaller Jay Johnson made quite the first impression in the Ducks’ win over Northwestern, it still seems like Dan Lanning will evaluate all options in the offseason. Among the many options the Ducks should consider is hiring Mike Norvell as the next offensive coordinator. Mike Norvell could be a candidate for plenty of Group of 6 head coaching gigs, but if he’s interested in taking a step back and rebuilding his status, joining Oregon makes a ton of sense. FSU Fires Norvell
FSU never recovered from being left out of the playoffs after a perfect 2023 season. One of the biggest injustices of the modern era. They beat everyone in front of them and were passed over, because Texas beat Alabama in Week 2.
-
FSU Fires Norvell
If Dan thinks he's the guy, get him here ASAP. Sit him right beside "the OC" during games, let him get acquainted with the players now for retention and recruits for recruiting.

No. 28 Oregon is 3-1 vs. the Strength of Record Top 25. Loss to No. 3 UCLA. Wins against No. 14 USC, No. 19 Boise State, and No. 24 Northwestern. 7 Big Ten teams are ranked in the SOR Top 25; 8 SEC teams.

Oregon's slim Big Ten and Playoff hopes may depend on rooting for a rivalRooting for Lincoln Riley isn't fun, as it's far more enjoyable to point and laugh each time the Trojans' season goes sideways, but if it helps the Ducks, it's impossible to root against them. Knowing how USC has fared under Lincoln Riley, the Trojans will likely find a way to beat Indiana, but lose one of the easier games left on their slate just to let everyone down. The Momentum Swing
I hate to see I injuries to any player that require a cart. I think momentum swung dramatically after Northwestern's starting safety Jon Jon Stevens left the game. His replacement was out of position on multiple plays, buying completely into an RPO when DR hit DKM on the 75 years bomb.

Week 9-10 AP Poll is Out - FWIW My Thoughts on Hold Until the PO Committee Rankings on 11/3
Great take, KK. I was not happy to see 2-loss NW at 26, but happy to see 3-loss OBD at 27. And I was not happy to see 2-loss Ohio State ranked No. 11 and not happy to see 2-loss SC ranked No. 18, but I was happy to see this considering next week's game in Columbus. Week 10 is loaded with great matchups. If ten SEC teams are in the committee's top 25, DUCK! Using the AP Poll, nine SEC teams, 56.25% of the conference, would be in a 24-team PO field; five Big Ten teams.

Week 9-10 AP Poll is Out - FWIW My Thoughts on Hold Until the PO Committee Rankings on 11/3
OK, a couple of thoughts: No. 18 USC 6-2 is ranked behind five 2-loss SEC teams, behind 2-loss Houston, and 2-loss No. 11 Ohio State, which the Trojans defeated 30-18. 5-3 South Carolina No. 23 and 5-3 Florida No. 25 are ranked. 2-loss Northwestern and 2-loss SMU lost competitive games on the road and are not ranked. Ten SEC teams are ranked. 10! In-conference losses are minimized, and in-conference wins are magnified. Will the PO Committee follow suit? No. 18 and No. 21 Iowa return to the top 25, which they should have not have left. Northwestern, with competitive road losses at No. 6 Indiana and No. 27 Oregon, drops out of the Poll in favor of two 3-loss SEC teams? 🤬🤬🤬
