Brock Thomas Is Why I Love College Football
Team. A Team is not young men reaching out with one hand to hopefully make an exciting catch and appear on Sports Center. Not a defensive end rushing out of his lane to make an exciting Sports Center Tackle. Fundamentals are a part of everything in our lives. Ego is not. You may have the most Expensive 5 Star athletes, the Best of the Best, but without 'that' special atmosphere, you will Never have a Team. This is not the Jim Brown era, not High School where one young man can dominate-well, RARELY. There are so many excellent players and coaches. We have a Great bunch of athletes, many wonderful human beings as well. Just my opinion, but if our Coaches can Coach for the Team, can Trust these young men and Truly Lead them as a TEAM, these Ducks can be awesome. Think back to Mike and Nick days. Those guys must have been amazing to do what they did with the talent level they had. Hey, ALL these guys at this stage of the game are pretty Damn Good Athletes! We are close, I hope. Big THANK YOU to everyone that contributes to all this that Charles has put together for US. I hope the Duck Coaches can organize and lead their guys in Football as well as Charles has Lead Us into a TEAM!

I Have a Gut Feeling What the Problem Is
The problem is Lanning's hubris in not hiring qualified F1 drivers to drive the F1 car level talent he paid to come play and thought he could grab Jimmy Lipper from the pit crew to race the car instead. As Lanning isn't an exceptional coach he reallllllly needs to be a better CEO and hire actual coaches and not just barely adequate buddies.

What Are Lanning's Options On Offense Moving Forward?
People commenting on Dak Moore leaving but Lanning offenses don't seem to wantt o really use wide receivers to their maximum. So if money was about the same I would go to another program that favored throwing downfield over moronic and poorly blocked passes out to the flat over and over and over.

Oregon - Nebraska Pre-Game Reports, Interviews, etc.
All depends on the defense. No matter who starts at QB we have to control the ball. We can’t get into a shoot out. We don’t have the offensive coaching talent to out scheme anyone. Don’t turn the ball over and hold Nebraska to under 20 points and we can win. The Ducks need to win 8 games plus a bowl to build momentum for next year. The CFP is gone. This is not the same team as in previous years. Maybe they start Akili, no tape on him could work to our advantage. Style points don’t matter, winning does. Forget comparisons to other Duck teams they don’t apply. Lanning screwed the pooch with his assistant hires. He will lose players to the portal, pick up a few. But there is talent enough to have a very good year next year. Our non-conference schedule is easy. I picked us to win tomorrow in a grinder game.

The 3 Oregon WRs who could step into a pivotal role with Evan Stewart's injuryThe 3 Ducks wide receivers who could start if Evan Stewart's sidelinedJalen Lott - Freshman2026 Stats: 1 catch for 6 yards There was incredible preseason hype for Oregon 5 star signee Jalen Lott, even with the fact that he was a late enrollee. The hype for Lott was slowed due to the fact that he needed hand surgery, but he finally debuted last weekend with a catch for 6 yards. Now that Lott is healthy enough to play, Dan Lanning and the staff may look to see what he can do in an expanded role, with the offense looking for answers. Iverson Hooks - UAB Transfer2026 stats: 1 catch for 6 yards Given all of the talent that Oregon had coming back at wide receiver, the Ducks didn't need to go out and add any via the Transfer Portal, but the staff still added UAB star Iverson Hooks. Coming off a 927 yard season, Hooks was expected to make a big impact to the point that he was named to the preseason Biletnikoff Award watchlist. Hooks hasn't had much of a chance to prove himself this season, but if Stewart is ruled out, he could finally start to push for playing time. Gatlin Bair - Freshman2026 stats: 3 catches for 25 yards Dan Lanning and his staff signed Gatlin Bair as a 5-star recruit out of High School, but he often flies under the radar due to the fact that he took a year off to serve a mission. The Ducks have gotten glimpses of Bair's ability in the Portland State game, but as the injuries continue to pile up, Bair is slowly moving up the rotation. Given the fact that Bair missed a year away from football, getting him more reps will only help him regain the form that made him such a highly sought after recruit. What Are Lanning's Options On Offense Moving Forward?
I do hope that DL is actively reaching out and finding an outside consultant to help with the offense. I just don't believe there's enough coaching talent/experience on that side of the ball to fix it themselves right now.
