  2. Ohio State is down from a -10.5 favorite to -7.5 As Coach Corso often said, "Someone knows something I don't know." Will JJ and Dylan deliver back-to-back? Keepin' the Faith!

  4. Don't ask this retired attorney WTHeck this means. I zoned out when it stated "though the win does nothing to tamp down dozens of similar lawsuits playing out in state courts across the country." NCAA secures win in struggle for five-year eligibility rule - ESPN

  7. It's all about expectations, just like the stock market. Buy on rumor and sell on news :) Most fans expected a lot from these Ducks this year, and rightfully so. So when they underperformed, people get mad. But when they won, it's just how it should be and there isn't much to say about it. This is the nature of the beast now in this day and age. I think it shows how far this program has come. It's great and sad at the same time. Hopefully we do punch through to the top and win that elusive natty one day, hopefully in Uncle Phil's life time!
  8. Nice. Hopefully JJ can draw up some plays to use this big weapon!
  9. Oregon WINS! 23-21 2 T.O. 5 SKS 302 YDS Pass. Beginning of the season I had this as our only loss, primarily because of their receiving phenom. But, I think our QB and running game will be the difference, with our defense pressuring the young QB all day long! Of all the games this season this is the one that our .... 🦆🏈🪨's ! 10. Great timing. Probably not in game shape but still a threat you have to game plan for.
  11. Playoffs, yes. And a bowl game, yes. Bonus, more practices for the non-millionaire DLinemen since I assume the "pro ready" guys will sit along with Poncho and Wilson.
  12. Oregon wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan is expected to return from injury Saturday against Ohio State, giving the Ducks a major boost on offense.Oregon's offense is expected to receive a significant boost ahead of Saturday's showdown against No. 12 Ohio State, as starting wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan is reportedly set to return to action after missing the Ducks' last six games due to injury. According to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz, McClellan is expected to play for No. 23 Oregon when the Ducks travel to Columbus for one of their biggest games of the season. Should McClellan play on Saturday, this would mark just the second game all season that the Ducks' top three receivers of McClellan, Evan Stewart, and Dakorien Moore plus starting tight end Jamari Johnson have played in the same game. The first was the season-opening game against Boise State. https://247sports.com/college/oregon/article/oregon-set-to-welcome-back-starting-wide-receiver-jeremiah-mcclellan-against-ohio-state-292254169/
  13. This is the most probable game we lose all year, but nobody should be shocked if we win either. I'll be a fan this week. OSU will have trouble running on us, compared to USC, and we don't have to worry about a running QB, so we can press harder with the pass rush on a young QB that has to carry the offense. My prediction only works if we win the turnover battle, and don't give up the edges on defense all game long, which is honestly a very tough ask given precedence. 24-20 Oregon 2 TO 4 sacks 235 yards
  14. Agree. One of the cardinal rules of life that seems to have been discarded is to be very careful with the words you choose, because once something is said, you can never take it back. That’s why venting is generally best done in private.
  15. Oregon has always been a bit like the Black Knight in Monty Python’s Holy Grail. We never think we’re out of the fight.
  16. Right now this team needs to just concentrate on a winning record. Sometimes seasons, get derailed look how they were rolling along when Bill Musgrave broke his collarbone.
  17. At my house, we have been applying some of the OBD philosophy to certain members of our extended family/friends, simply because the positives outweigh the negatives. A few In-laws have been outlawed... Until they can learn to be a positive influence, rather than sitting on the B wagon without offering any reasonable solutions to the problem at hand, without inviting conflict. I'm not an innocent, nor am I a Flufferbutt, but the atmosphere created by this forum is a good thing that deserves to be celebrated.
  18. Oregon 31-17 1 T/O 2 S 303 YP Yup, hope springs eternal!
  19. Well, if we lose to tOSU, it will be the 4th loss. Then the season really is over, ain't it?
  20. Everytime I picked the other team this year, OBD won. So I will keep doing that... Ohio State 28-21 TOs=1 Sacks=1 Pass yds=200
  21. Ducks 24-19 2 Turnovers 3 Sacks As a program defining moment goes, this is DL's defining game. Its about time for a well coached, 4-quarter game that results in a big time win against a blue blood, elite team. Go Ducks....
  22. Ohio State 35-24 TOs=0 Sacks=2 Pass yds=225
