  1. I'm so glad we have Rob Mullens!
  2. TT would bring the most $$$ to the Eugene/Springfield area. We saw how well they travelled.
  3. You don't even have to ask me. I spent years working 12 miles from CornValley. Beaver fans are *******s. For instance, when Jesse Nash drowned, their joke Du jour was... How do you teach a Duck to swim? Throw him in the Willamette! Har har. To be fair, they're not ALL bad. But those rubes out in the valley are pretty ridiculous. ... I'd die before I would pay good money for Resers or Marketside products, or even accept a free fast food breakfast sandwich. Buck the Feavers.
  4. That's what I thought. 4 plus 2. I left the room to pee, and missed the T's. So happy they pulled it out after blowing that lead!
  5. That was awesome, but can someone please explain all the free throws at the end?
  6. When I played football at Benson in high school('71-75), I can still remember the coaches telling us that there was a new shoe company in Beaverton, that had good football shoes that were affordable. They were $12.00 IIRC. It was still called Blue Ribbon Sports.
  7. Saw this in the theater when I was 12. Double bill w/Dirty Harry. Fifth avenue cinema in Portland. It never gets old. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atMdf0rhbpI
  8. If you're visiting Eugene, don't miss Barry's. It's an institution. https://www.barryseugene.com From The Daily Emerald. "And how soulful it is. Barry’s the best deli I’ve seen outside its traditional headquarters of New York and Los Angeles. I really don’t believe you can have it better unless you’re at a place like Canter’s in LA or Katz’s in New York. Sure, you can visit the “new-style” delis in Portland or Seattle but they’re borderline sacrilege. The new delis often make a pastrami sandwich with thick-sliced meat, or a bagel and lox with half the lox you’d normally get. The thought of this would make many purists cringe. Deli food isn’t supposed to be reinvented. It’s the food that you ate when your 94-year-old great grandmother pinched your cheek and called you shayna punim, or “pretty-face” in Yiddish."
  9. Was at the dog park on Monday. Construction has slowed WAY down. Here's a pic of the Ferry Street bridge from Skinner's Butte, during the 1890 flood. The north entrance under water. Autzen would be built, much later.
