  2. In-state recruit sets Oregon visit following decommitment from ArkansasIt's always a good idea to try to keep your state's best products close to home. While the Oregon Ducks have continued to recruit nationally in the 2027 cycle, earning commitments from players in 11 states, they have made a greater effort to keep Oregon's top high school talent in the Pacific Northwest. The Ducks made that clear by offering three-star tight end George VanSandt back on May 7. Just a few weeks later, the Central Catholic star is reopening his recruitment. On Wednesday, VanSandt announced his decommitment from Arkansas and scheduled an official visit to Oregon for June 5. VanSandt committed to the Razorbacks in April and was supposed to be in Fayetteville for an official visit this weekend. Now, those plans have been called off. https://duckswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/ducks/recruiting/2026/05/28/oregon-football-recruiting-george-vansandt-arkansas-decommit/90297184007/
  3. Oregon OL target Ismael Camara cancels summer official visit scheduleOregon will no longer host Top247 offensive lineman Ismael Camara for an official visit this summer, but the Ducks remain a key team to watch.Oregon will not get its scheduled summer official visit from one of its top offensive line targets in the 2027 recruiting class. 247Sports four-star interior offensive lineman Ismael Camara announced on social media that he will no longer take any official visits this summer, a decision that wipes out a planned June 19 trip to Eugene. Camara had also been scheduled to officially visit Texas A&M on May 29, LSU on June 5 and Texas on June 12. He was previously expected to visit SMU on May 1, but did not make that trip. Camara said the decision was tied to his academic timeline, his goal of early enrolling in 2027 and his desire to remain with his Gilmer High School teammates through summer workouts. https://247sports.com/college/oregon/article/oregon-ol-target-ismael-camara-cancels-summer-official-visit-schedule-286781744/

  5. Thanks, H. There is no way the B1G and the SEC will agree to market football and men's basketball with the ACC, B12, and G6. The Power 2 down the road could agree to go to market with one another. Cue the antitrust lawyers.

  7. I am sorry but I have to call out the selection committee for baseball, USC, OSU & Oregon got screwed. Are they using RPI or polls? OSU was ranked in the top 10 in 3 of the major polls but 18 RPI so they must be using RPI. But wait USC was ranked 9th in the RPI but don't host? Maybe they don't want the State of Oregon hosting 2 regionals and USC hosting because UCLA is, but wait the state of Georgia is hosting two regionals. Oregon hosts and has to have what is considered a top 10 baseball team in their field. (Same goes for OSU)
  8. Oregon closes in on destructive defensive tackle from the city of big shouldersIn the first clip of his HUDL junior highlights, 6-3, 305 defensive tackle Brayden Parks evades a blocker with a swim move, demolishes an outside zone read play at the mesh. In the second he lines up at nose, so quick to the quarterback that the center doesn't lay a hand on him. Parks is strong, beastly strong like Derrick Harmon or A'Mauri Washington, creating inside pressure with quickness and tenacity. He has good feet, too, keeping them moving as he works through the pass protection with the agility of an edge rusher. He blows things up. His ability to get off a block and accelerate is phenomenal, as fast as anyone on the field in the first ten yards. A four-star prospect in the 2027 class, Parks makes his official visit to Oregon on June 19th. He's at Ohio State this weekend and Notre Dame on June 12, his three finalists. Recruiting analyst Brian Smith told Spencer McLaughlin of Locked on Ducks, "Oregon's trending. People around Notre Dame think he would pick Oregon right now. That's how powerful Oregon's recruiting machine is. And it doesn't really stop there." 15. The bipartisan Bill co-authored by Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell that would provide antitrust protection for college athletic enforcement has a decent chance of passing and being signed into law by the president. But not without debate and objection, of course. Among other relief provided by the Bill would be a one-time limit on players transferring for any or no reason, except for being allowed to transfer when a coach moves on. The Bill would also prevent tampering with a coach, as happened with LSU and Lane Kiffin last season, before the season ends. 17. Seriously? OBD plays Ohio State in Columbus, probably a 9 AM body-clock kickoff, returns to Eugene to play Michigan, and then travels to East Lansing, Michigan, for a short-week game that happens to be the eighth straight game without a break. No other Big Ten team has a November like OBD. This is probably the most difficult schedule in CFB this November. 11 AM kick off in Stillwater means one less drunk Cowboy in the stands. 10:30 PM Eastern kick off for the game vs the Vikings. Will any sober person on the Right Coast be tuning in to BTN to watch this "contest"?
  18. If you can't join the Ducks, why not play the champ game in Providence Park in Goose Hollow? I'm reasonably certain that this game would be a Miss-State. 😊
  19. Houston will also be a Texas Two-Step beatdown. Houston will probably be ranked in the AP preseason poll. What's Beavis being paid to travel to Houston in a body bag? The B12 stiffed us, so let's open the season with two games against 2 of the best teams in the B12.🤪 Sorsby? Meh. The Gatorade Person could QB TT, and the Red Raiders easily win the game. On September 17, 2033, Texas Tech is scheduled to visit Autzen. If Cody Campbell is still drilling and NILing, this should be a tough P4 (if the P4 still exists) out-of-conference opponent. Of course, in 2033, OBD and TT could be in the same conference in NFL Lite.
  20. Because the Pac-12 has but eigth football playing member states, the 12th game is flex scheduled but will be a repeat of a conference game played earlier in the season. They broke up the MW for this?
  21. Personally... I hate the neutral site conference championship game locations but that's unrelated. The only team they play that is remotely interesting is Texas Tech and that is going to be a one-sided stomp fest from Texas Tech.
  22. It’s not bad, it’s “innovative”. I believe the conference determines the last game based upon some formula that puts them at some kind of advantage for post season positioning. Roll your dice to see who you play twice. This is what you do when you can’t afford the deposit to rent a venue for a championship game 😆
  23. Thanks for the input, everyone. I pay the extra bucks for printed-out tickets, so at least I won't have to worry about getting into games. But I would still like to be able to pop onto GoDucks on my phone once in a while. Maybe, as HDuck mentioned, it's a problem with the App, and it will be fixed at some point.
  24. I had to do it... I had to look up the Beaver's schedule for this season. https://www.espn.com/college-football/team/schedule/_/id/204/oregon-state-beavers It's bad... Also am I correct in only counting 11 games?
  25. I think the state of Oregon wants this game to help Oregon State financially. We all know who benefits most from this, and it's not the program in the B1G. I remember the foolish anger from Oregon State and Washington State fans saying they didn't want to ever play another road game against their traitorous in State rivals. They were saying the schools should only do a renewal if it was a 3 for 1 in their favor. It's like FSU fans complaining about Florida blocking them from SEC membership. I won't get into that whole mess, but FSU turned down the SEC four times under Bowden, and now they want in because their boat is sinking. Oregon State was content being bottom feeders, while Oregon became a national brand. Yet the lazy little brother who slept in every Saturday while big brother hit the weights, went running and built themselves up got the scholarship. Now little brother is crying how it's not fair, when they decided to just sleep in and watch Spongebob, and eat hohos.Completely irrational.
