  1. Ok. Offensive line seemed a step behind and was just "manhandled" by a defense averaging twenty pounds lighter. I just passed it off as underestimating Idaho as an opponent and not bringing our "A" game. But, this analysis showed a lot more concerns. Hopefully, it is simply an offensive line that is still coming together as a unit, learning to work and protect a left handed QB, but we need to see a lot more cohesiveness and a lot less "deer in the headlights" performance against Boise St. If the OLine doesn't "flow" against a Boise St. team that just gave up 40+, then there will be, should be, some major concerns going into the "new" civil war; and talks of a B1G championship in Oregon's first season as a member will have been Greatly Overstated! Hard to win football games without solid offensive line play, let alone play championship football. I am confident that Oregons OLine WILL become a solid playing unit. But it has to happen NOW, Here at home, before we start into B1G play. Currently I am confident and optimistic that it will happen. Please Oregon O, make me justified in my optimism. GO Oregon Ducks!! 🦆
  2. 39-20 DUCKS Win! 2 turnovers 3 sacks 345 Pass.Yds.
  3. I have the B1G+ app. It does show a 60 minute OR vs ID recast.
  4. Poison! Seems to me some were drinkin in the "hype", did not bring their "A" game 'cause....Idaho. BIG Hats off to Vandals who were half step faster and finished with...intent. Caught the Ducks sleeping on em at home. Need "reader leaders" on "D" to recognize and call out adjustments for unconventional plays. The "Dr's Visit" will be quite interesting this week and hopefully has the antidote to the poison. In November NO ONE will remember, talk about, or even care how this game went down if OBD is in the driver's seat for the B1G championship. Game next week with BoiseSt coming in, just got a whole lot more interesting. Especially with their 3-0 record against us and a "bowling ball" of a running back who went for a buck-fifty and several TD'S yesterday. Heal Quickly Ducksters!!
  5. 53 - 12 DUCKS 3 T.O. 5 SACKS 305 P.Y. 1-0. Bring on Boise! 🦆🏈🪨's
  6. You took the words right out my mouth! Or should I say.... "Keep my "programs name" out you're darn mouth!!". 😆 (Kinda wish we could have played em in Boulder this year and hung 70 on em!)
  7. Awesome series. Great hype for the season. GO DUCKS FOOTBALL 2024!
  8. 3C! Definitely. Get to listen/participate in two wildly different approaches to "winning" football and player relationships. Plus get to tap the "righteous" dude sitting in 4C, to see which one is actually the "savior" of their respective programs! 🤪😁😎 GO Ducks!
  9. "If you ain't cheating...you ain't trying! (Along with the oft forgotten tail end of that quote). "And it's only cheating if you get caught." Integrity is Hard. Impulsivness is Easy. We ALL need to do better. Out!
  10. THIS, is all 🐂💩! Wasn't "consolidating" conferences, thus TV contracts, suppose to have streamlined the ability to stream/broadcast college football in order to institute NFL-LITE??!! OH YEEEEAH!!! The consumer is ALWAYS at the Bottom of the "feeding frenzy" and we tend to forget about the multiple layers of "profit sharing" that always goes on behind the scenes between the consumer and the "delivery" of the final product! I guess "capitalist" are going to "capitalize" when the money, odds, and public sentiment (Outrage!) is on their side. (And we wonder why there is such a thing as a Billionaire!) Now don't even get me started on the hoops and hurdles and outright Lies I had to deal with SPECTRUM'S customer service to ensure they were delivering the B1G10 channel that was listed, but not broadcasting. (Thankfully as of August first it became available). Here's hoping Comcast/Infinity gets their "contracts" in order....much sooner than later. Good Luck subscriber's! Until then...Go Ducks!
  11. Yup! The realignment shift has automatically set each season up with meetings between several top 25 teams throughout the season, especially in the Big 2 conferences. With the expanded playoffs and number of games played to reach and win the championship game, there's no incentive to schedule teams that you will most likely see in the playoffs (to be expanded to 16 teams in the 2027 championship season). Before it was imperative to schedule a "marquee" game each season to bolster SOS in order to be considered as a "playoff" team. "Marquee" games now fall to simply scheduling each seasons conference slate. OBD should focus on scheduling "West Coast" teams during the non conference games, especially with teams that were part of the conference formally know as the PAC. I would be fine with no longer scheduling FCS opponents from here on out. Regardless, we as Duck fans are in for a run of highly competitive and entertaining football in the new "NFL-lite. (And YES! SEC Needs to go to a NINE game conference schedule AND until they do they need to be "punished" by the selection committee by lower seeds and further travel requirements during the playoffs, until they do so!.....yeah right!) GO Ducks!
  12. "Let’s see the Ducks have a great week of practice, a great day in Autzen, and a great start to a historic season." YEAH! What he said! GO Ducks Football!??!
  13. Ok...threads like this is one of my favorite aspects of the FishDuck Forum. Instead of posting HAHA'S (😆) on each comment just need to let y'all know I am literally laughing my butt off at most of these...to the point my dog is looking funny at me wondering if I have finally, indeed, lost it! Keep us laughing Duck Ppls!
  14. Hmmmm...I always thought that was a PREREQUISITE, in today's "click based" media sources?!?! 🤣
  15. Yes, but Boise State next week WILL be a much better measuring stick. This week work out the kinks and see what you truly have, at game speed, on both sides of the ball. Much better to start the season with than say....Georgia?! Can't frickin wait for our season to begin! 🦆🏈🪨's
  16. Because we Haven't! Can't wait to rectify that fact in a couple of weeks! And I don't want it to even be close! (56-20 would "taste" nicely)! GO Ducks!
  17. One-Stop-Shop for ALL my "Duck Fandom Compulsions"! All without any of the negativity and bravado; nor is anyone trying to constantly "sell me" on subscriptions to enjoy "opinions" about our OBD's. Love the info. Love the discussions. Love the FishDuck Forum. Keep up the good work to all who regularly contribute and participate, especially the forum manager Mr. Charles FishDuck! GO Ducks!
  18. If it will draw enough eyeballs to make enough "dinero"...you better believe it will happen. Our Beloved Ducks ARE an international brand after all. And, yes I will be up and "quacking" at whatever time the kickoff may be! GO Ducks!
  19. Way to go Bo! Congrats. Now Ball The Hell Out! GO Ducks Alum.
  20. A "lookin' over you shoulder" type of season coming up for Sir Lincoln Riley". He Really NEEDs, that opening season win against LSU. AIN'T going to get it! 😁
  21. Looks like they got "the band back together". Wonder if that is going to translate to the court? One can only be hopeful. GO! 🦆🏀
  22. I swear if Gabriel wins the Heisman, while wearing number Eight; then Oregon Football needs to Demand that all future starting QB's wear that number. (Even if they have to swap the jersey when subbing out!😋). GO Quackers!
  23. Yup....but I hear the same thing being said by other "talking heads" about the Oregon program, so talent depth I think we compete well there also. 😆👍
  24. Fair enough Opinion. The B1G has always believed, or at least strived to be, The Ground and Pound O VS the Big N Beefy Monsters of the D. "That Team Out West" has always been that flashy, speedy, quirky team that is good for wins against 90% of opponents, but fail when tasked with "larger" offensive and defensive teams. Well D. Lanning has addressed that "size" issue on both sides of the ball, and the B1G has rarely seen an offense as potentially prolific as what is coming their way this year. Honestly, we don't actually know how the new members of the B1G will compete in their new league. But, I do believe that with Oregon leading the way that the fundamental approach of the B1G will have to evolve. I'm two to three years this same "pundit" will very probably have an entirely different Opinion on the validity of the Oregon Ducks competitive abilities in the B1G, and the landscape of college football. At least this one "fan"atic truly Believes so! GO Ducks!
