  1. Part of that could be because Bill and his partner aren't at the games, but calling it from separate remote locations, untethering Bill even more!
  2. I don't get it either. The results you brought up of the disparity between home and road games for the Buffs is stark, and how they could be seen as a 5 seed is rocky logic at best. With the Lady Ducks, no surprise that they had more success in pre-season games than in conference play, believing that this freshmen heavy team should even go.500 against the talented, experienced teams like Stanford, UCLA, Arizona, was optimistic at best. What they are missing the most offensively is the lack of consistent scoring threat inside. She doesn't have to be Ruthy , but neither Sedona or Nyara pose enough of a threat to take defenders away from the shooters outside. There is certainly room for improvement, and the sooner Paopao can play the better.
  3. This article from si.com thinks it will be the Ducks and Trojans playing for the chips in Las Vegas.
  4. I just finished writing about Washington's delusion in another topic. It's everywhere! Of course "Phil" is brought up by the Honk. The mentality of Clemson V Washington? Clemson actually has Championships, 1 from 1981, while Washington...not so much.
  5. It really is easy to understand why Washington has such enmity towards Oregon. They think they were, "all that" 43 years ago. They weren't really, but that's what they told themselves, then here comes Oregon, who objectively wasn't that good, and now Oregon is winning games, dominating the conference, Rose Bowls, NC Appearances, a Heisman winner! The Washington fanbase can't take it, so they shove it off on Nike. If it wasn't for Uncle Phil, Oregon wouldn't win anything!. Washington would have everybody believe that Oregon is trying to keep its connection with Nike a secret., that all of a sudden we just started winning. It actually has to be sad to be a Husky fan. Beaver fans get to play the underDOG role. Washington is the fat has been that never was to begin with.
  6. Congratulations, Oregon Ducks Soccer!
  7. You are not alone!!! I miss him every time he doesn't call a game !
  8. Graves mentioned a while back that this team closely resembles Sabrina and Ruthie's freshman team. The major difference being that team didn't have to follow the best Women's basketball team in the country! Add to that, the "Fab 5" recruiting class. As much as even Oregon fans appreciated these were kids, the comparison to the team from last season couldn't help but seep in as we watched them play the teams that lusted after revenge for the way Oregon had treated them the last 3 years. This team won't make the Final Four, but like the team did in 2016-17, it will get better. Much better.
  9. First thing Oregon does after the Pac-12 goes to an 8 game season.
  10. There won't be many Pac-12 teams in the NCAA's this year, but it will be quality over quantity according to sportspac12.com
  11. What does NBC Sports Northwest think of Oregon's schedule?
  12. I think you nailed it, David, even with your objective look at the Ohio State game.
  13. That is indeed a sign of resect for the Ducks. We get UCLA at The Jane for four games in April.
  14. There are rumblings that Russell Wilson is causing Seahawks fans to be and it could get so bad that he night be playing somewhere else next season, and the talk is that could be New Orleans. That would leave a gaping hole in Seattle behind the center and not much time to fill it. Enter Marcus Mariota. It's looking most likely that Las Vegas will cut Marcus, and it would not be that difficult for the Seahawks and Marcus to make a deal. A Duck being a Seahawk? I know, initially it doesn't seem right. But Ugo Amadi is making it work, and higher profile, it worked great the other way, Brandon Roy, a Husky became a beloved Portland Trail Blazer And if Marcus was a Seahawk, all their games would be on TV for us to watch in Oregon.
  15. I've watched Soccer on TV, purposely watched Timbers, and World Cup matches. The players are athletes and I respect what they do. But, when it comes down to it, I don't understand the game. Other than learning the best way to kick the ball, dribble it, that's the term, down the field. I don't understand what there is to practice? A player has the ball, he kicks it another player, and he or she does the same thing, and eventually one of them tries to kick it in the net. The entire game, and Extra time seems completely random. The only time it's really "competitive" is the shoot-out, kicker against goalie, and that favors the kicker 80% of the time. So, Soccer fans enjoy!
  16. The Ducks will have to spread the field with Percy on the line.
  17. I like it, watch out for Stony Brook. It looks like the Ducks will be at my predicted winner of the South, UCLA, so that will be tough, and at the end of the season at 2nd place, Utah. At UW. Oregon has to play the 4th place team in the North sometime, somewhere.
  18. We will never see any article like this from Washington, the Dynasty of NeverNeverland. The facts of Oregon's dominance in football, MBB & WBB in the conference is obvious everywhere but Washington. The Voice of the Huskies goes by "Softy". Softy had the misfortune of growing up drenched in purple, and it's too late to help him. But, if you're out walking, and you come upon somebody babbling, show them the way!
  19. Game Recap from goducks.com.
  20. Matt Muelbach is 1 for 1 after the Ducks took the first game of 3 they need to win to be back to back Pac-12 champs. The Ducks haven't lost to Arizona since 2018, and most recently the games have gone down to the last seconds, including OT, But even with a 7 minute drought in the first half without a basket, the Ducks led, 37-33 at halftime. Duarte finished with 22, Omoruyi had 21. Oregon shot 54.5% on 3's, 45.5% overall, outrebounded Arizona, 37-29, and a season low 7 turnovers.
  21. Yes, and he is always completely impartial. This could be because sometimes I'm not sure Bill knows, or cares, which teams are actually playing, but details, scmeetails.
