  1. I want to watch the young-guns in the second half, and I will be downing Widmer Hefeweizen! Remember how loyal Oregon State fans are...and they don't get to see 10 win seasons...
  2. I cannot recall a 10-win team at Oregon getting their butts-kicked badly three times in one season? Whew! Anthony Brown cannot see the whole field or process it; that has been evident since Fresno State. Receivers have been open and the sportscasters have said as such... What a shame.
  3. Please game comments in the game thread, as that is what it is for.
  4. Please place game comments in the game thread...that is what it is for.
  5. Let's hope the defense plays well and keeps us in the game!
  6. A great Oregon Duck slogan forever!
  7. Got to love it, as yep...it makes the CFB world go-round. Who do I root for in the ACC? Whoever is playing Miami...
  8. I love that word...so rarely used and so accurate in reference to the NCAA. Another rarely used word that I love...."belay." (Bear with me, as we are all weird in our own way!)
  9. My friends....fill out your profile for the forum as it only takes a few minutes. Follow the instructions below and please... --Know that I have NEVER shared information in over 10 years of thousands of members, and their data and never will. (Golden Rule!) --Please fill in your name, and your cell phone number for when we have questions about posts. It happens often and is MUCH better at times than emailing. --Make sure the email you have on file is one you often check. --Tell me your story as a Duck fan, as it makes it so much more interesting. --Are you retired? --Do consider giving a little bit of your time. I provide most of the funds and a ton of time to make this platform available for free, and if everyone could do their part... It only takes a few minutes to finish your profile...do it NOW! First...go up to the right corner and Sign In, and if Signed In...click on your avatar, the picture that appears next to your name when you post. (Red Arrow) Next step...when the menu appears...click "Profile." (Green Arrow) Third step is on the page you will go to; go to the upper right and click on the "Edit Profile" as you see pointed to by the Red Arrow below! Fourth step is a box that will appear that you fill out....easy-peasy!
  10. Ok...now that is funny. And the language is acceptable for this crowd...
  11. He was a GA at Oregon, so they know him well. Below is an article with more information about him, and it sounds great. REPORT: Oregon Bringing Back Former GA for Analyst Role by Matt Prehm of Duck Territory 247
  12. This is a very big development for a defensive line that is already thin on experience. He will not be in the bowl, but he will be back for Spring Football and the fall. Oregon NT Popo Aumavae Set to Return to Ducks for 2022 Season by Zachary Neel of Ducks Wire
  13. Sounds good; as long as you follow our rules...you are quite welcome and that was a nice first post. Do read the personal message sent (In upper right corner, a red circle over the envelope symbol) and do share your thoughts.
  14. Looks like some smoke, and it will fun to learn more about him... Key Ole Miss Assistant Emerges as Top Target at Oregon for Same Role, per Report by SDS Staff at SaturdaydownSouth
  15. Thank you. We are not perfect, and in fact will stumble on occasion, but we have established a foundation that works and we will strive to keep it going!
  16. Hello My OBD Forum Friends! This is the last game for eight months, so let's enjoy all we can! Take your shot and let's have fun with it... Lets get these predictions started and remember I look for the spread with then the closest score that has the spread correct. The data I need from you is: (entries without all the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count as I am not going to hunt them all down) --the winner --the score, and the tiebreaker information needed from each of you is... --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team --the number of passing yards. My guess is: Oklahoma 34-20, 1, 1, 221 (C'mon Anthony Brown...have a GREAT GAME!)
  17. While I fear the changes that are indeed coming? I plan to soak up as much of the current "era" as I can. While what you describe is never returning....the same is true with what we are experiencing right now. Who knows what it will be like in just three years from now? So let's enjoy the next three years!
  18. That is a cool look...clean and fast! (And THANKS for posting it!)
  19. Precisely. At the beginning of the season....they are fun, but now...."blah-blah."
  20. (Press Release from Oregon Athletics) EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon’s game vs. Colorado initially scheduled for Dec. 30 has been rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 3 at 7:00 p.m. in Matthew Knight Arena. The contest will be televised on Pac-12 Network.
  21. Thanks, as I am developing a more rounded set of goals for the forum: 1) provide a safe place to post 2) post the news pertaining to Oregon sports 3) Entertainment...such as humor and interesting off-topic areas such as the weather thread, Christmas decorations, etc. Just trying to do my part with the entertainment component! Everybody can contribute in all the areas!
  22. My FishDuck Friends....you may have noticed that quite a few articles are not posted here, because I am looking for more than the typical coach-speak you see before the games. So many times I pass on an article because the title was good, but the content was just nonsense to justify publishing something. Many former FishDuck writers would get angry at me for busting them on writing, "blah-blah," and they knew I was right. After all...I'm a writer too and know "filler-text" when I see it. Besides, there are other things I'd rather watch...
  23. I really thought we were going to get our butts-kicked in Columbus...but the team surprised me. I thought UCLA was run over us with a 17 point spread...wrong again. And I thought we would lose to the Beavers by 10, so either this means that the Ducks really do have a chance against the Sooners, or.... I should not ever get into sports betting! Sometimes you can put up a good show, but it still doesn't go well...
