Can the Ducks finally Win In Colorado?
I was going to say that this is our best chance in years because Colorado isn't as good...until I looked at their 7-3 record. They beat Kansas State by 18, USC by 10 and Washington by 23 of whom the Ducks barely squeaked past. The Ducks are going to have their hands full, no doubt. I am going to be curious about how they operate in the low post against much bigger players...

FishDuck Article: Oregon Women Primed to Upset Stanford
The Oregon Women’s basketball team is coming off their first loss of the season, and their first loss in 27 games, to PAC-12 opponent UCLA. In what was a hard fought game, the Ducks had multiple opportunities at the end to either tie or take the lead, but came up just short 74-72. At times in that game the youth ... FishDuck Article: "A Letter to Mario Cristobal: Restore Oregon's Offensive Legacy"
Recruiting is nearly done; the 21 previously verballed are now signed LOIs from the December signing date. They are not/cannot bolt. Oregon only has four spots left for a couple of coveted players, and leaving room for transfers, as the portal is going to be quite active in this offseason.

Holy Crap! Herbert in Even MORE RARIFIED AIR
Amen my Duck-Brother, as I feel that pride as well. Count me in as one who not only did not see it, but was very concerned about him being a bust. This has to be tough on some of those in LA who are both USC and Charger fans? It took a DUCK to bring them back?

Schedule Change for Match-up with No. 1 Stanford...
I was stunned at how good a passer that Sedona was in a recent game. She nailed crisp passes outside to the three-point shooters, but she also had some nice passes on the back-door to cutters. She will make a difference upon her return!

Angela Dugalic: Versatility at 6'4"!
It is so fun to watch players in all sports realize in a game..."I can do this!" For Angela Dugalic, the game against the Bruins was precisely that. I recall about the third game of the season is when Pao Pao realized that, "I can get behind a screen and shot a good three!" So fun to see...

FEEDBACK: How About the New Background Pic and Font Size?
My FishDuck Friends ... I am constantly working with the Web Developer as we make adjustments to the site. First of all--how about the new background picture? I can change them although it won't be more than once a week, and normally it will be a football picture like the one of Travis Dye catching a pass in the Washington State game that was our first background. It is just that right now--we could use a little basketball and the basketball season for these pics is only two months more. Next item is the font size; the original smaller font size seemed almost weirdly small in reference to the large size of the post, so I increased the size of the font to fit the post better and it is easier on old eyes for us who are Greybeard-age. Thoughts? My friends, it is so easy to add videos, GIFs and pictures. Go to the Directions in the Pinned Topic at the top of the Forum Front Page and learn how!

FishDuck Article: "A Letter to Mario Cristobal: Restore Oregon's Offensive Legacy"
I need to go back and watch for that, as it would be very, very interesting. Welcome to this community criticalduck, and I love your Posting Name. So many of the other sites suck-up to the coaches and never ask the tough questions or write articles like David's today. We are committed to critical analysis and yet giving credit where it is due.

FishDuck Article: "A Letter to Mario Cristobal: Restore Oregon's Offensive Legacy"
Oregon has a history of tight ends...a ton that went to the NFL. So that legacy is being called for to return as well as scoring by David; Cristobal is ruining every offensive tradition at Oregon? If he did something new that worked, than that would be different and we fans would need to adjust. But this is doing something different--to be doing something different regardless of whether it works. GREAT article David! Ed Dickson with the winning touchdown pass at Arizona in 2008...

Oregon Football Players declaring for the 2021 draft and who else?
Boy I wish Kampmoyer would reconsider, as I am not sure if he would make an NFL roster, and next year we have only one experienced (and healthy) tight end returning in DJ Johnson. Austin Faoliu has declared for the draft as well, and that is not a surprise.

Transferring: Daewood Davis, Jayvaun Wilson...WHO ELSE?
Who are the candidates for transfer? Those two are buried in the depth chart, and it only makes sense that if you are not in the two-deep soon--you will get passed by highly ranked rookies coming in. I noted that Braylon Addison was playing corner for the bowl game? Is that a tell? Daewood Davis scoring...

Moving on Up! Men Ranked 17th, Women 11th in Basketball Polls
The Oregon men are gradually moving up the rankings as they continue winning, and my question is..."how much better can they be?" Dana Altman believes there a ton more upside, so perhaps a top-ten is possible with this team? The Women slipped from No. 8 to No. 11 and will probably slip further if/when they lose to No. 1 ranked Stanford on Friday. Yet I believe by the end of the season--they will be in the top ten again. Pretty powerful conference with Stanford at No. 1, Arizona at No. 7, UCLA at No. 9 and Oregon at No. 11. Whew! Thoughts?

Featured Daily Article: "The Ducks' Surprise Standouts of 2020"
Wonderful article Alex, and I think the impact of Jamal Hill has been underappreciated. If you go back to the end of the UCLA game, the final fourth down pass by the Bruins to win the game was broken up by....Jamal Hill. So if we add that game and the miracle interception at the end of the USC game....Hill saved half of Oregon's victories!

The Ducks’ Surprise Standouts of 2020
In the painful last month of football for Our Beloved Ducks, it’s been tough to see the bright spots in some bleak, bleak team performances. Rotating quarterbacks, disastrous special teams mistakes, losing fumbles and confidence all culminated the season on a dissonant note falling on the collective deaf ears of Oregon fans. But there were some welcome surprises in these ... Read More Source View the full article...
