I like a Playoff of an odd ELEVEN teams! The five Power Conference winners sit out the first week while another six go at it with the winners joining the five the next week for a Playoff that cannot miss the true national champion.

This something that I did not notice, but Avalos did not write a public farewell to the Ducks, and none of the players or Mario have publicly wished him well at Boise? There is a story there...

You know John Canzano does not always write negative articles ... it just seems that way! This is a good one referring to sports and real-life and an interesting one to ponder.

It does not come as a complete surprise that Oregon finished outside the top 25 (article right here) for 2020 after the bad bowl loss. However Our Beloved Ducks are already in the Top 15 for 2021 in an early ESPN poll right here. Cool.

Interesting topic Haywarduck, and thanks for getting it going. (Everyone start a topic!) I am leery of promising other sports because it dilutes the player's potential in both. However offering some fullback/running back opportunities as we've spoken of with Sewell makes sense. I think your idea of tight end is a good one, and he would actually last longer with less body damage, although Cam McCormick might disagree with that. Yet if he can become a dominating defensive tackle--big paychecks await, and I think he should focus entirely on that and become the best that he can. But I see your reasoning for recruiting...interesting stuff to ponder.
