  1. Coach...I would sure love to have your opinions much often...like every day! Thanks for joining and posting from Georgia.
  2. Well, for some of us....we feel three years of Cristobal has been long enough to see an actual offensive system; I've been counseling patience, hoping for the best in a ton of my articles--yet here we are. You could argue that as frustrated as many were with Arroyo, the offense took a step backward from that in the seven games of this year. But I love the debate, and it is GREAT to have your thoughts here in the forum FishIceCream whether we agree or not, as you and so many others make me ponder my positions on these topics all-the-more. Welcome!
  3. Sorry guys, no link yet, as we are still finishing and editing, but Coach Boles, (who wrote this article about the top 10 DC candidates for the Ducks last Monday right here) will have an updated version of his Top-Five Preferred Candidates publishing early tomorrow morning. My San Diego State and Rocky Long DC lineage did not make his list, and he has some new names that I admit I did not see coming and are quite intriguing. Look for it early tomorrow morning!
  4. Great players all, but Herbert should win this by a landslide with all records set....
  5. We have done great with the smaller speed guys and THANKS to Haywarduck for posting a link. Everyone....post a topic and reply to every one. Let's have some fun...
  6. Boy, Chris really looks likes he belongs in the NBA, just as Payton does! So great to see former Ducks flying high in the NBA....
  7. This is so cool to have so many of Our Beloved Ducks in the NFL and playing this weekend; see who they are right here
  8. The No. 17 Oregon Ducks men’s basketball team didn’t play bad on the road on Thursday afternoon against the Colorado Buffaloes (12-2, 1-0 Pac-12). In fact, the Ducks (8-2, 3-1) had pretty decent performances from the usual suspects — Chris Duarte led with 27 points, six rebounds, four steals and two blocks; Eugene Omoruyi scored 18 points and grabbed six ... 9. Some new names beyond what Coach Boles presented on Monday are right here.
  10. We had a great article this week about the candidates who could replace Avalos... I don't think Jim Leavitt is on the list...
  11. Mike West! My article for Sunday is about the Critical Analysis Fan, who can both call the negative without a bite or bile, and yet be grateful for the positive at Oregon. I salute you! It's gotta be an Oregon IPA....
  12. Can't fault him but darn....another new defensive system?
  13. Wow. Leading 33-32 at half on the road at the No. 1 team? GREAT START!
  14. Completely understandable with the inside linebackers of quality in the room and joining the Ducks shortly. I wish him well!
  15. Well, we started the year with great third down conversions and then hit a skid.. You make great points and wish to invite you to post more often!
  16. Darn right! If we had a running back room as highly rated as the offensive linemen... (how crazy is THAT to read!?)
  17. It is reasonable members of this forum like you that make me re-think my premises...and that is a good thing. Thanks for posting!
  18. Well that is the beauty of this forum, and that we can all disagree without getting personal. I will politely disagree with you, in that I do not believe that the senior defensive linemen of Austin Faoliu and Jordon Scott along with linebacker Mase Funa (who had his hand down most of the time on the LOS) had a good year and were coached to their fullest abilities. Had they a great year? It would have helped the newbie linebackers and taken pressure off the parts of the secondary that were inexperienced. Seniors and one of the highest rated LBs ever at Oregon should have performed better, IMHO.
  19. I am delighted to see some of those names stay, but I sure want Anthony Brown back as we may need him! Article is right here and is free....
  20. "Nationally, The Conference of Champions was already thought of an inferior football league. After 2020, forget the inferior moniker, we’re now pitiful." This writer let's it all go with his thoughts...read the rest right here. As a publisher...the only thing I do not like about the article is the writing style of one-sentence paragraphs through-out, as an opinion article should be well-constructed paragraphs as you see from Joshua's article today at FishDuck. Not a stream of consciousness, like this writer, but he makes good points!
  21. That is not a lot of confidence at the position when you are looking for a Band-Aid, IMHO....
  22. Boy this one surprised me and yet makes me so proud of him! Following the mold of Dan Fouts, only Justin can move!
  23. We all know here in Oregon how well Mario Cristobal has done in recruiting since he came to Eugene, but his impact has been still felt at Alabama and will be on display this Monday...
  24. So great to see DeForest Buckner do so well and he's in the Playoffs this weekend! Great article about him right here.
