  1. Haven't been able to hang out here much lately. Long hard runs everyday has pulled me away. Going to take part of this weekend off and get caught up. This right here just makes it a little easier to get through. Thank you Trojan Man! You make my days just a touch lighter. "Whine On".
  2. Dude doesn't even have a drivers license. Kid should pump the brakes and wait a couple years.
  3. Nothing good happens after midnight. Condolences to family and friends. Sad.
  4. Oregon Recruiting: Former UGA OLB MJ Sherman enters transfer portal DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM MJ Sherman struggled to find a role with Georgia, but he is a former top-50 recruit with...
  5. Lanning got 10 wins out of the gate. Thats pretty good results. 2 loses proved fatal. Nix injury was definitely a factor but defense and special teams own most of it. 11-1 reg? I don't know if Oregon would have gotten embarrassed in CFP or not. It didn't look good Sept 3rd. I would have loved to see Lanning and his team try. Lanning is bringing in some Dudes. 75% of the team are his guys. Stack classes like this years class for a couple years and Ducks are going to Dominate the Pac or B1G. Lanning v. Smart for a title is coming. And it's going to be epic.
  6. This is getting pretty crazy. How am I supposed to keep up with all this madness?
  7. Cam won over a lot of Duck fans. He showed grit with coming back from season ending injuries 3(?) years in a row. People like that. I hope the best for him. He is no longer a Duck. It opens up room on the roster, thats probably a good thing. Its official, this is no longer Helfs team.
  8. Just turned it on after a 17 hour day, what a beating.
  9. Some did, your point is well taken. I was not in the "no Bo" camp. Hope this kid is of the same mold. It was obvious to me Bo was a Dude. Not sure on Soelle.
  10. A mediocre player from a bad team? I guess!
  11. Lincoln Riley is a scab. Garrett Riley knows this better than anyone.
  12. Spring is going to be important for Popo. He will be able to test himself after injury. Hope he is 100% of what he was last spring. If so, his impact will be felt across the D. Dudes a beast!
  13. Lanning landing Nix coming out of the gate is still the biggest fish to date. Time will tell but DL is showing huge chops on the trail. He has used the portal to turn this roster into his team. Portal is a great tool too shed 4 and 5* who wash out (JF). This Duck staff has been moving hard on recruits and portal. Super aggressive Malchow will prove his brilliance it he can balance 85 scholarships with the level they are getting commitments.
  14. I fully expect Ducks to win every one of those games. Like UCLA in 22, U$C goes down to the O in 23. Send them off with a parting gift
  15. Talents that were starters in past years will now be seen as valuable backups.
  16. Thats a quick flip. 75%? That makes this Lannings team. The "These are Mariøs guys, wait until Lanning gets his guys" no longer applies. There are some Dude's on the Lanning side of the ledger. Ducks are/could become a great team well ahead of schedule.
  17. A lot of moving parts with my scenario. Pretty complex. I think Nix could pull it off. Not sure on risk reward?
  18. You could use this play to set up your play side TE in the passing game. Release on the block have the TE from back side picking it up. Bang bang 7 yards. Risk is selling it at line without getting lineman caught 4 yards down field. Also risk holding on your receiver.
  19. I remember last spring game. Popo Aumavae was an absolute Dude. He was on pace to become a Duck legend. Then he got hurt. Hoping Popo picks up where he left off before he got hurt. If so, he could be the game changer Ducks are looking for. As a 6th year senior he could fill part of the leadership role. If you have forgotten about Popo, Hopefully this spring he reminds us all.
  20. By year 3, Lannings defense is going to be a force. We don't need the D to be Georgia next year. Just better than they were this year. With the offense Oregon will put on the field next year and marked improvement from the D, Ducks could easily find their way into CFP. Glass is half full. Lanning will be in year two as a HC. That alone will make him better. A lot of the players will be in 2nd year of defensive philosophy and scheme, again, better. Huge recruiting and portal success. I really enjoyed this year. Few bumps along the way were painful but this team exceeded my expectations. Love watching the process as Lanning "rebuilds" the Ducks is exciting. The Holiday Bowl performance has me excited for what is to come the next few years. Go Ducks!
  21. Thats a heck of a list. A few will wash out, a few will become absolute Dudes. Lanning is building a machine.
  22. Greatest bowl season I can remember. With two cherries 🍒 can't wait to pound U$C into the dirt next year. Leave a permanent stain on their own 5 on RB Field.
  23. I have always liked Penn Sate white. They always look good
  24. Pac 3-1 LA. 0-2
