Thanks USC, by trying to get the B1G to ensure Ducks wouldn't almost guarantees a Duck invite. Why wouldn't the B1G capitalize on this hatred? I hope USC gets destroyed. At this point, on the field or off. I don't care at this point. They are the worst with Fusky being a close second. I am not the morality police. I say let them rot at every level.

My statement really has nothing to do with beating a rival off the field. I wish the best for the beavs but I don't feel sorry for them. I was at the war of the roses game with my son. It was a blast. But it doesn't change the fact that the beavs put themselves in this situation. Corvallis isn't much different than Eugene geographically. Eugene is a little bigger. Both are small college towns tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Oregon had a vision and built their brand that is desirable in the market conditions of todays college football landscape. Got some luck along the way in ways you mentioned. But it wasn't all PK and CK. It took all of us and a few decades. Everyone from Phil Knight to the guy that drives the truck, from the guy that sells the ticket to the guy that buys the ticket. It took all of us. Rutgers or Vandy aren't in the position Beavs and cougs are in. Don't really see how that comparison is valid. Beavers and Ducks are in the position each is in for various reasons. Some of those reasons are because of choices and decisions each school made. Who knows, Beavs move to G5 and they might make the playoff long before Ducks return to playoff. I am a fan of the Ducks. Full stop. What happens to the rest of the pac doesn't concern me. Pac cut its own throat. There are some casualties from that. I am super grateful for the decisions and actions the Ducks have taken along the way. It took all of us. Moving on to the B1G is a huge win for Oregon. But Oregon put themselves in position. They should be celebrated for that.

Cougs and Beavs put themselves in this position. They only have themselves to blame. Ducks raised their status over 30 years of hard work. Beavs should have done the same. They didn't.

I think an opinion is easy to form. In The wake of Pac12 network fiasco, Willie Tagart, Mariø and rhe poor leadership of the Pac over the past several years... Oregon needs to take care of Oregon. Keep leading with the chin your gunna get put down. It's time Oregon gets aggressive and looks out for themselves. Nobody in the Pac likes Oregon, so why care about them? What Ducks do is the Ducks business. It's time to push the envelope and close the deal with the B1G. I know, B1G is seemingly in the driver seat. More than one way to skin a cat. Sell it Ducks, not that difficult. Ducks are an elite product. If Oregon stays in the Pac they are fools imo. B1G or drift into obscurity. Go Ducks.

I hope I am wrong. I just don't have a lot of faith in Pac decision makers. They have proven inept for years. The last 12 months shows me all I need to see. I would prefer the pac stay intact. Super conferences run risk of becoming a popularity contest for playoff placement. That's recessive. Pac has made a mess of themselves. The ones that pay the bills will suffer for it.

If Ducks are on streaming only they will go dark to 80% of football fans. This would hurt tremendously. At every level. When I watch CF all day the recall button on the remote takes a beating. Usually watching several games at any given time, except when Ducks are playing. That goes away. I am a fan of the Ducks. All the other games are only because I love to watch football. Charge me $10 and the hassle of not being able to flip around from game to game, I am not watching your team. Don't care who you are or who your playing. I will watch other conferences over other Pac teams often. Go to streaming and Ducks lose all those viewers that like to watch Oregon but aren't necessarily fans. Gotta stay convenient. If Ducks sign a contract like that, they deserve what they get. The Pac is done IMO. I would try and get into the B1G for $20m for a couple years over all streaming for 6 years. Ducks will be forgotten by the rest of the nation in 2 years. Big money wants a couple conferences they can monopolize and control at the power 5 level. Ducks need to take care of themselves at this point. Sorry Pac... RIP!

IMO, the writing has been on the wall for a few years now. Nobody has taken the Pac seriously for a bit. After this embarrassment of an off season, nobody will take this conference or its members seriously for some time. It's time to go. Ducks have spent 30 years trying to become relevant nationaly. If they stay in the Pac, 30 years for nothing. I am not going to hold out hope that this can be fixed. Not even the NCAA is coming to the aid of the Pac. I just don't see what you guys are seeing, that this can be fixed. I want our Beloved Ducks in a strong conference, playing the best for the ultimate prize. Not in a glorified G5. Getting the "little brother" tagged to the Ducks by UCLA and USC isn't acceptable. No... it's time to go.

Not a lot is going well for the Pac recently. Members are hitting the exit fast. We can spin and sugar coat it all we want. We are on the eve of a fourth member heading down the road. Thats a third of the conference in 12 months. Those are facts. At this rate the Pac will be lucky to get Cal Poly. Not a good look, just saying. Few more weeks and the Ducks will be playing on the Hallmark Channels.

20m? I don't know if I should be offended or Downgrade my thoughts on Pac12 worth. Pac hasn't been to the CFP in years. Pac 12 champs got beat by unranked Florida. One of the Pacs best teams got throttled 49-3 first game last year. IDK, maybe 20m is fair market value?

Indifference would be my position on the Beavs. I hate losing to them but I only watch them once or twice a year. Rooted for them last year v. USC. but I could care less about them. If they were more competitive I might be more passionate in rooting for their demise. As it stands now... Meh

Big12 will pick up OSU. JS is a good coach and long term asset to both OSU and the Big12

Seems to be working. Oregon needs to bounce. Sucks, but the Pac seems to be listing port side hard. Doubt it recovers.

Outside of the I-5 corridor, most of the State could transition seamlessly in the midwest and NE regions of this nation. I would love to play Ohio st. MICH, Penn State USC and Washington regularly. Home and homes. Way better football. Traditions are of more value in my heart though. Super sad the Pac 12 fans find themselves in this position. Does cow manure start with a "B"? Oregon is an athletic school. It is the #1 priority at the university. B1G would be lucky to have Oregon. Wash for that matter as well🤮. Moore would be a freshman at Oregon if Duck where B1G when he declared. No doubt in my mind. But yea... B1G conf would be a perfect fit.

IMO, the Pac is done. Will Oregon survive? Probably. But they are going to be severely battered in the process. What does the 24' recruiting class look like after the smoke clears? Will/can DL crawfish on his contract extention? Would love to be a fly on the wall at dinner time in the lanning household. Oregon is on the outside looking in. I don't see any way Oregon gets out of this fully intact. Sorry for being a doomer but this is a nasty situation for the Ducks to find themselves in.

The Pac and B1G should just merge. We can call it tP1G

I am not as clued in as I usually am this time of year, mainly due to all the conference realignment and media deal snoozer all off season. Ducks have added a ton of talent through the portal and recruiting. Mostly looking forward to D line and linebacker play. D should be drastically inproved. O line might or might not be elite like last year but they will be very very good. Going to be interesting to watch them gel. Returns Nix, nuff said, returns Irving and Whittington, nuff said. Huge upgrades at WR. Media is sleeping on the Ducks and the Pac is going to get smacked in the mouth for it Looking forward to battling it out with your Dawgs in the NC game. GO DUCKS!

Milk toast, Copy paste. Media echo chamber dribble. USC has won nothing in decades. Nothing will change for another decade. Oregon and Washington(🤮) are the teams to beat in the Pac. Ducks lost 2 games by a combined score of 7. Oregon lost those game, they weren't necessarily beaten. Ducks will be much better and it wont even be close. Not a little better, a lot better. The experts and their USC love fest is a bore. I hate the Huskies, but I hope they stomp USC into the turf in their own house.

So... 2 losses last year that should have been wins. A thorough butṭ kicking right out of the gate. A defense that my 76 yo mother could score on, probably break a hip in the process for sure. Ducks offense will be better than last year. Perhaps top 10 nationally. Line comes together quickly and look out. All other position groups will have marked improvement. Ducks Defense can't be any worse. Should be much improved with the team speed added. Defense has the talent to be top 30 imo. Up to the coach to get them there. Yep, 12-0 in conference and no worse than 13-1. Pac champs and a shot at 15-0. Some will think I am crazy. Perhaps I am. Tell me though, tell me the path isn't wide open. This is the most talented team top to bottom, Ducks have ever fielded. I don't buy the "but this team, but that team" arguments. Ducks handle themselves and stay healthy-ish, my prediction is exactly where Oregon finishes. Oh yea, need a couple lucky bounces Oregons way.

IMO, Cal could care less about football. Wicox is serviceable. Thats all the Brass cares about. I doubt any Pac coach gets fired next off season. For many reasons, mainly that there are a lot of talented coaches in the pac.
