Would have like to see Buckeyes in the 4 slot. Heaven forbid we have a B1G NC game. Can't really argue it though. OSU loss was to #2 Michigan. I think those are the best 4 in CFB. Committee got it right imo.

Joe Brady has 4 regular season games to coach plus playoffs. Bills are the highest scoring offense in the NFL. If Brady is to be a Duck, does that get announced immediately? After regular season? After playoff run? Would be a great hire if true. The logistics are tricky though.

Many different levels of fans. Bandwagon fans are fans like everyone else. Some are just more fanatic about it. I am a football fan. Ducks are my favorite team. Dont watch other sports. Doesn't make me less of a fan than anyone else. When the Ducks are playing poorly and dropping games. Bandwagon fans aren't cheering them on, neither am I. Only Difference I am still watching. When the Ducks are winning? Eugene, the whole state starts vibrating. We need fair weather fans to make that happen.

One thing we have learned for sure: Bo Nix, Caleb Williams and Max Duggan are warriors. Some gritty QB'S in college football this year. Daniels is playing hurt too. LSU is getting pounded though. Some great Conf championship games this year.

Max Duggan, dude was a beast. That was one of the best non Duck Football games I have seen.

I don't think this loss should drop TCU out. It would be a travesty.

Great game. Williams is putting up a heroic effort. Ducks would've been called on the Rising hit, vicious. I thought it was targeting.

Dilly's going to be a great head coach. He landed in a place thats going to have a ton of patience. KD will get 4 years, successful or not. If Baldwin doesn't work out he has 2-3 to find the right guy. After that he will have to be competitive, conf title contenders. ASU ain't the Ducks. He won't have Nix, elite O line, 3 or 4 studs to throw to and an elite back field. Seemed Dilly stopped using his TE late in the year. I don't understand, TE were lethal early. Hope Dilly is successful. With a loss to the Ducks every year of course

That is the greatest logo and color scheme in sports. I am grateful that we have an HC who doesn't make excuses or pass blame. The guy stands in the gap and takes all the shots for his men.

My thoughts on it are different than yours. Thats all. Not a big deal. I like Lanning and think he is going to grow into one of the best head coaches in college football. I could be wrong. You put your thoughts out there by writing this article. OBDF is not an echo chamber. I have a different opinion and stated it. Seemed pretty benign when I wrote it.

Lanning is HC. I am sure he was. Was he consulted about assistant coaching hires? Maybe, if so... Oregon will not reach the top IMO. Wouldn't be any different than Mario's micro management. A topic of discussion many time on OBDF.

Other schools seem to be mesmerized by what Oregon has. They come after Ducks coaches only to find out that what Oregon has Is Oregon. Oregon is bigger than any of these guys. How long will it take for them to figure that out. The list of those that learned the hard way is getting long: Chip Kelly, Scott Frost, Willie Tagart, Mariø, plus a few more. I hope KD turns around ASU and we get to play them for conference titles. But I also think he jumped the gun and will get beat up a bit.

Oregon didn't lose because of 2 plays. But cool, I was just giving my thoughts on the OC hire. Nothing more. Lanning will be better in year 2 and again in year 3.
