  1. Unless Chip had a personality transplant at 23-25 record would have him gone. He got away with a lot because he was winning (cough Willie Lyles cough) and I understand his abrasive attitude quietly rubbed many people the wrong way. A losing season or two and the knives would have been out.
  2. Unranked (but 10+ offers including Georgia) 2025 wide receiver from------Mater Dei.
  3. As I remember that furious comeback Tom Blanchard was also injured during the rally but stayed in the game to convert a third or fourth down before he came out---with a dislocated shoulder. Hall of Fame coach Tommy Prothro decided to get the backup to Heisman Trophy winning QB Gary Beban a couple minutes of playing time late in the game. Big mistake.
  4. Add another Mater Dei Monarch to the list. 2024 four star OL DeAndre Carter announced he will be at Autzen.
  5. Another 2024 prospect from powerhouse Mater Dei, mid range three star wide receiver with double digit offers.
  6. As a 2024 recruit I assume this is another unofficial visit.
  7. Sorry, thinking of Bryce Boulton. The alliteration got me.
  8. Walk along on an unofficial visit with Oregon prospect Brandon Baker.
  9. Haven't seen a list of official visit but a couple of tweets from a four star 2025 prospect are humorous based on timing. Yesterday Today
  10. "We’re a no excuse program." So says Lincoln Riley. Never guess that from his quotes in this article. Lincoln Riley blasts 'poor' officiating in USC's loss to Utah - On3 WWW.ON3.COM Lincoln Riley wasn't shy about calling out poor officiating in USC-Utah, but he also wasn't using that as an excuse for losing.
  11. Colorado was ranked 129th in total defense giving up over 500 yards per game. Cal managed 297, 35 rushing and 29 of 52 passing.
  12. Hasn't this been in effect for several months? I know when I click on a dot it takes me to about where I left off. I say about because on my computer I need to scroll up because I am just below the first unread post. It is a nice feature.
  13. Interesting item from the Canzano newsletter. U$C leads in defense. This week I’m also going to provide you with some Pac-12 team statistics, courtesy of the research team:
  14. Another thought for Utah. I don't get the Pac-12 network. A Ute win increases the odds for their game against Oregon being on ESPN or Fox. Increased exposure for OBD and I don't have to watch some jerky stream on my computer.
  15. Nice evaluation but it reads as if it were written while sipping green Kool Aid. I know offensive line is one of the most difficult to predict and Oregon has a long list of mid-range three stars that play like blue chip prospects. He is a very svelte 330 pounds. Trusting the coaches evaluation.
  16. Apparently missed all or most of his junior year with an injury. Lipe Moala Midseason Highlights WWW.HUDL.COM Lipe Moala Midseason Highlights
  17. My understanding is high school kickers are allowed to use a tee, raising the ball an inch or two above the surface. Not the same as college.
  18. It would be interesting to know how many of the 'also rans' got 2 million viewers by being matched against Oregon.
  19. Keep in mind that Oregon recruits nationally. A quick glance at the two deep roster shows over 30% are from outside the Pac-12 footprint + Hawaii. The same holds true for the 2023 recruiting class commitments as it now stands. While it is an advantage to have scheduled games to an area it isn't the end of the world if we don't.
  20. Totally agree based on past history. Alejandro Maldonado was highly rated, a Kohl's Kicking School All-American. We had another kicker highly ranked by Sailer Kicking Camp but forget his name. What is different now is we have Joe Lorig to coach these players up. Previously special teams almost seemed like an afterthought.
  21. Wouldn't U$C making the championship game make recruiting the LA area more difficult for Oregon? Lincoln Riley would sell they accomplished a top two finish in his first year and they "only need a couple more players" etc. U$C will always be a bigger threat to OBD than Utah. I look at the long term rather than a single year.
  22. Duplicitous arrogant traitors or the team oriented blue collar workers. Easy choice UTAH.
  23. I don't pretend to be a x and o maven, just a simple fan. As such it is interesting to read about the evolution and variations of the different packages in the Ducks playbook. I remember in years past Stanford used a jumbo package with great success. They lined up five star offensive linemen and four star tight ends shoulder to shoulder and, at least against Oregon, scored rather easily. Mario Cristobal would be proud. Is the Kenny Dillingham version basically a copy of what Stanford ran or is it developing into another animal altogether? For example I don't remember the Tree handing off to a tight end, just little lobs to players who dwarfed the DB trying to cover them. Are we seeing other innovations?
