No Travis Hunter This Week
Admittedly, I am a bit slow and completely misread your comment. Must have more koffee.

Did YOU Have Serious Questions About Oregon After the Game?
"Did YOU Have Serious Questions About Oregon After the Game?" I currently still have serious questions about this team. And I will continue to have serious questions about this team until I see them put a 'competitive' team away at home, and see if they can also do it on the road against one of the tough PAC-12 teams. Are they capable of proving this? On paper, 100% yes. For all kinds of reasons, this Saturday will be an interesting test. If they play this Saturday as they are capable, and if they play in a disciplined fashion, in my humble opinion, they will go all Buffalo Bill over the Buffs.

No Travis Hunter This Week
Sory... but I believe Travis Hunter plays for the Buffs.

Pac-12 Whip Around - Week 3
Last night, Colorado State, @ Colorado, had: - 17 penalties for 187 yards - Plus 4 TOs (2 TOs for the Buffs) With numbers like these, I have no idea how CSU was even remotely in that game, let alone in a position to win it. IF Oregon plays as they are capable, and IF Lanning can get our back-to-back game penalty problem under control, Oregon should go Buffalo Bill on Colorado.

C’mon…a New PAC Conference? Really?
If desperation and insecurity were attractive qualities, OSU & WSU would be smokin' hot.

GameDay Thread vs. Hawaii: Join Us!
I thought I was reaching a bit with my 62-24 prediction. At this point, it looks like I'm going to be way off on both numbers.

OBD Prediction Contest vs. Hawaii!
Oregon 62-24 3 TOs 4 Sacks 401 Yards Passing And a lot less penalties 😉

Wow! OBD Prediction Contest was CLOSE! The Winner was...
I'm usually terrible on these predictions. I file this under "everyone gets lucky on occasion" (and thank you, Mr. Bassa). However, I do seem to recall that EastBayDuckDad has won this before and been close on several other occasions. But regarding the game, what I do know is that while yesterday was not a pretty win, it was one gutsy comeback performance, in a very hostile environment... and that Bo has the heart of a lion.

A Positive Thing I Saw
After having played 3 very sketchy quarters, to come back on the road, in such a tough environment, in a hot climate, and put up 20 points in the 4th quarter, is extremely impressive. The Ducks got stronger the deeper we got into the game. Most teams in that kind of situation, and after having played so poorly for much of the first 3 quarters, would have wilted and gone home with their feathers between their legs. If we reduce our penalties from 14 for 124 yards, to around 5 for 50 yards, I bet that would add at least another 7 points to our total score. Thankfully, penalties can usually be fixed rather quickly. And Bo Nix has the heart of a lion. So... how good is this team? Frankly, I have almost no idea right now. If they can get it together, I think we could have a very good season -- despite the fact that we are playing in what looks like a very tough conference which includes USC, Washington, Utah, & yes... Oregon State (and maybe even WSU).

A Positive Thing I Saw
Not to mention, thanks to Bassa's decision to take it to the house, my lucky prediction of Oregon winning 38-31 would not have almost nailed it 😉

Oregon vs. Texas Tech: Never-in-Doubt!
I was thinking the exact same thing.

Oregon vs. Texas Tech: Never-in-Doubt!
Since my score prediction was Oregon 38-31, thankfully, he returned it for the TD 😉

I love our kicker. He's drilling it out of the end zone every time.

GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
Take a deep breath, boys. If we score a TD on this next possession, we're right back in this ugly game. If not, then let's talk.

GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
Total disarray
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
Nah... we needed 1 yard. TT has simply completely dominated our O-line. 71 total yards rushing.
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
We need him running as little as possible. Unfortunately, right now we need him to run.
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
It's about the middle of the third quarter and both teams leading rushers are their quarterbacks. You don't see that very often.
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
43 yards rushing for Oregon. So far, TT has destroyed our rushing game.
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
I'm not confident that Portland State is very good.
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
No. We are going to win 35 to 31... because that is my prediction.
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
Got to get out ground game going. That would change the game. TT starts the 2nd half with the ball. C'mon defense!
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
If we went 1-11 last year, we might be doing the same thing.
-
GameDay Thread versus Texas Tech: Join Us!
92 yards rushing - Shough 11 yards rushing rest of team Talk about a strange stat
