Who have we beaten? BYU can’t win a game, WSU has zero defense, and Arizona is one of the worst teams in the PAC. I hear what you are saying but UCLA just curb stomped Utah for 3 quarters then hit cruise control. We haven’t beaten A legit top 30 team yet. I am seriously worried about this one.

I noticed many consider UCLA to have the best QB and running back in the conference. I believe the two best QB’s and RB’s will be on the field in Eugene a week from now. Oregon will have its O-line tested this game. UCLA will have to deal with crowd noise, and Oregon team speed. UCLA has not been tested on the road, nor seen the speed we have. Oregon has the talent. UCLA has experience. Their QB is in his 12th season at UCLA. This one is going to be fun. It will say much more about Lanning, and his staff, than the Georgia game did.

But….It is UCLA that is easily the best California team. USC is rated so highly because Norte Dame needs a big win to get to a big six late in season. IMO UCLA is the best team outside of Georgia we will face this season. Just as fast as us but with much more experience. I want USC to win but I think Utah spanks them, proving that UCLA is the southern team to beat.

Who’s going to compete with Oregon? Washington? If we keep getting ten times more talent, then we should dominate the pac

My concern is about the Big 12. I think it will be easier for them to poach Utah, Colorado, and both Arizona schools, then for us to get a few of them. Those four Pac schools are geographically suitable for Big 12. I keep waiting to hear that talk.

Texas is extremely rich in dollars and tradition. That would be a fish worth poaching.

U$C needs to win this. If so we will have three teams ranked in top 10 or 11 by next Monday. And Florida beat them already. USC needs to win to keep Oregon in the playoff hunt. I want to see us in playoffs more than I hate USC.

I believe 2 teams from both the SEC and BIG will be in playoffs. Then the PAC-12 champs, Big 12 champs, ACC champs, and 1 at large Oregon would be in playoffs 3 out of ever 4 seasons if we stay put. If there is a PAC 12 in the future

Yes I do. He has the personality of a Brett Favre, or a Johnny Manziel. Lanning has done well to get him to play under his scheme. I like that as do most. But it is NOT who he is. He is a gun slinger at heart. Alabama and Georgia like their QB’s to be 150 to 200 yard per game, musts he free, field generals. They have the luxury of monster middle linebackers, and shutdown corners! Not to mention 400 pound running backs that run 4.4 40’s. We don’t have that at this very moment. So I think Bo needs 350 plus through the air, and close to 100 on the ground against UCLA. I have been saying watch out for UCLA in here for over a month. Very experienced position players, and they absolutely man handled Utah’s line. So yes I think Bo has been leashed like a typical SEC QB, who isn’t coached by leach. Im not sure that will result in a win in two weeks. We have the speed in our receivers. Bo has the arm he’s just a half second to slow to throw it for our receivers to run under it. UCLA does not have Kirby Smart coached 5 star defensive backs. Attack!!! Now be nice in your rebuttals. As you always are

I’m happy with Bo. Although if he’s not unleashed against UCLA we may lose. I think our Inside linebacker play has taken a step back. I am also surprised at the taunting I see under coach Lanning, that Kirby Smart would never allow.

I’m not convinced an Oregon win will do it for our Ducks? But in a very real sense, a UCLA win, and a home win against USC, leaves UCLA with the following: Road win against number 10 Oregon Home win against number 6 USC Home win against then # 12 Utah That’s very possible. And that equals a first round playoff game against SEC champion. I imagine Chip is aware of this. As well as his team.

You have a valid point. It goes both ways. I just think they have a NFL ready running back. And it will be harder for us. He gained 198 against Utah, and they are known for stopping the run. But I think we are getting better each week. This game will answer many questions. I have not looked forward to a game this much since the FSU game years ago! Go Ducks

UCLA spanked Washington and Utah. If they beat us at Oregon They will be top 5 with nobody to stop them. USC is one dimensional, and they play at UCLA. I look for UCLA to be ranked #9, and us to be #10 by game day. And I expect to see Game Day in Eugene.
