And next year Lanning loses the offensive lineman and Bo Nix. I have been curious to see if Lanning left this season, if he gets to PAC 12 championship game. College is now pro with paid players. There is very little loyalty anymore. I would not fault Lanning for leaving for the Big or SEC if offered this year. we are not developing a QB for next year for some reason. That is main reason I won’t be surprised if Lanning is leaving.

I’m not sure I agree on the talent difference. I will take 3 stars who perform over 4 and 5 stars who aren’t. Are defensive backs and linebackers should be tearing it up in the pac 12. Instead we were darn lucky to best WSU

Like it with one exception maybe? USC is going up by 3 touchdowns early in game when refs made a horrible roughing the passer call. They made several others all against USC. If this Game were to be played at USC they would kill Utah.

True enough. I think USC gets destroyed by Georgia. In fact if there were a 8 team playoff today I would have Georgia, Tennessee , Alabama, and Ole Miss in them. I think it’s gotten that lop sided. Last year Michigan destroyed Ohio State. Then remember what happens in playoffs. Michigan hit curb stomped. You can only compare SEC teams to other SEC teams. They are that much better

I think UCLA’s D has looked good. If we spank Utah, like UCLA did, and the game is basically over at half, I will be happy. Utah got 14 garbage points in the 4th after UCLA hung up their shoes.

We haven’t played, in my opinion, the 4 best dual threat QB’s. So it’s hard to get an honest read on our team Are we better since Georgia? No legitimate way to determine that yet. UCLA is the first team we have played that has a V-8 for an engine. They knocked Utah backwards, it wasn’t even a game. I usually bet games, but not this coming Oregon game. I simply have no Idea who we are yet? You could give me Oregon and 14 points. I still wouldn’t bet. You could give me UCLA and 14 points. Still not betting! If UCLA scores first it may be a long day? To dramatic?

We haven’t played a defense yet since Georgia. Voters know that I imagine. Let’s see after we play Utah, UCLA, and Oregon State. Win those with games and go to PAC 12 Championship game then maybe. Main reasons I want to say no is simple. USC has Williams and Georgia stomped us. And if UCLA wins it will be there QB talked about. Many of my questions will be answered this Saturday.

The refs helped Utah three crucial times. But now that USC lost I can root against them from here on out. I think due to our loss to Georgia, UCLA is the last remaining hope for a PAC team in the playoffs. I think UCLA has a better defense than Oregon, Utah, and USC. Unless Oregon proves me wrong this Saturday. Go Ducks.

I figured we had a chance when they set game time at 12:30. With the top ten losses today it will likely be a top 10 showdown. I figure UCLA #9 Oregon # 10

You are forgetting UCLA. They have already curb stomped Washington and Utah. They play us Saturday, and USC at home. The rest of their schedule is easy street. We may not have a chance, due to the Georgia game, but USC and especially UCLA are very much alive in the playoff race

I picked Tennessee over Bama by at least 10 points 3 days ago. USC lights up Utah in Utah. 38-21 Both are great results for our Ducks!

Great read. I am afraid though , the PAC will not be the same without those teams. I am trying balance a positive outlook with reality. But them leaving feels like a death blow to the PAC.

Alabama list both their best receivers and key defensive players before they played Georgia.

Oregon must win out. USC must win out until we play them. Including beating Notre Dame Alabama must lose one game before losing to Georgia. That gives us a chance. If all that happens, and Clemson loses a game. we’re in for sure To be honest UCLA has easiest path to playoffs I think. They beat us they will go undefeated

Agreed. If USC beats Utah and We beat UCLA we will be both in PAC 12 title game I think. So let your love for the Ducks flow, and root for USC. If we lose go back to hating the trash from USC.
