The bipartisan Bill co-authored by Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell that would provide antitrust protection for college athletic enforcement has a decent chance of passing and being signed into law by the president.

But not without debate and objection, of course.

Among other relief provided by the Bill would be a one-time limit on players transferring for any or no reason, except for being allowed to transfer when a coach moves on.

The Bill would also prevent tampering with a coach, as happened with LSU and Lane Kiffin last season, before the season ends.
