OFF TOPIC: Oregon vs USC Tickets

Hey everyone, this is my first post on here, and I wanted to gauge everyone's thoughts. My wife and I are all booked to head to LA for the USC game, but we are thinking about waiting until last minute to buy tickets in or near the visitor section. Do you recommend buying from someone on these forums, or waiting for ticket platforms like Ticketmaster to drop the prices? I know it's still 2 months away, but this is our first ever road Oregon game and we are super excited!

I'm sorry that I cannot answer the question, but thank you for the post. Please keep them coming. 👍👌🦆

I would get the best seat you can ANYWHERE in the stadium, because there have been a ton of unhappy Duck fans in their visitor section. I sat among Trojan fans there once, and it was OK....they are passionate fans, but not violent ones.

The game will probably be a sellout. Besides, as you probably know, the visitor seats are in the worst area....on the far southeast end in the corner. A view of the back of the goal posts at an angle. In the distance a game is happening. Depending on game time the sun may be an issue.

Trojan fans usually are among the most laid back group there is. The student body (where the noise is generated) tends to be wealthy or foreign that are reasonably well behaved and respectful. The alums and parents are mostly quiet.

They love the tradition of the program but would be embarrassed to get caught acting out. Of course a few idiots always exist but you would probably find them being told to behave.

Lucas Museum for narrative art (1.5 billion cost) opens for the first time just days prior to the game. Right next to the Colly. Might be worth a few hours.

Last time there, I bought two good tickets between the 45 and 45. Surrounded by USC fans and they were very cordial. This was the Kenjon Barner game when he ran wild for around 327 yards and we had a rookie QB named Marcus who played lights out. We won a shoot out and the fans around us said " We hope your DUCKS go all the way this year!". Very gracious. I am eye balling Sept 26 myself but have not got a buy in from the spouse yet. GO DUCKS! I would pass on the visitor section.
