Yesterday at 04:14 PM1 day No. While I am all in n the Ducks during football season, during basketball season my loyalty lies with my VCU Rams (1981 graduate). I still have a soft spot for the Ducks in b-ball though and hope the new era they are entering will bring success.Sound like a challenging year, but the interim coach and the players seem ready for the task. It should be exciting to watch.Go Ducks! At least until the play the Rams (VCU that is). I hope the Ducks surprise a lot of people and end up near the top of the B1G.
14 hours ago14 hr No. Montana is one of the teams that is considered most likely to win the Big Sky. An 18-point win is not to be dismissed. I recall a few good Big Sky teams that caused us problems, such as the Idaho team that beat the team with Ronnie Lee and Greg Ballard, and the Kellerman years under Munson.
13 hours ago13 hr No. I thought the team took another step forward tonight. Fewer turnovers and lots of assists. Pretty much everyone who played, scored, and they seemed more connected offensively. Their depth and athleticism really showed up. I think there is a lot of potential in this team.
3 hours ago3 hr No. Ok. What a difference a couple weeks make. Know it was just Montana St. AND the first game of the season but; Whatever Stubblefield is selling the playa's are buying. Best ball movement and rebounding I have seen from a Duck BB team in over a year. Some of the no looks and "alleyoopish" passes were something you see from teams ...mid season. FIVE! FIVE! players in double digits. If this team can just meet consistently this level of play then maybe, just maybe, this season won't be such a "train wreck" I was anticipating it to be days after Altman's retirement and the the turnover-fest up at Seattle U.Here's hoping that Oregon 🦆🏀🪨's!Go Quackers!

58 minutes ago58 min No. It is hard to draw conclusions without any baseline for how good Montana currently is.But, I thought the ball movement was better than any Ducks game I watched last season. Resulted in balanced scoring. But, just the artistry of guys looking to make a pass, to find an open man, to be aggressive in rebounding was way better than what I saw last season. Hope they can sustain it.Playing 3 exhibitions (1-2) had to have helped the coaching staff, and the players to find some sense of cohesion and understand each player's strengths?Ducks trailed 4-12, led 25-14, led 53-38, tied 57-57 (gulp at 10:41), then won 87-69.
