Thursday at 03:57 PM3 days No. Early on in the recovery process for Dante Moore, Lanning seemed optimistic about the how soon we'd see him back on the field. No additional injuries, outside of the concussion, made it seem like a relatively straightforward process to get back into the starting line-up. But here we are, three days away from it being exactly a month since the USC game. Dan Lanning made a comment yesterday that was interesting. He seemed to either not know whether Moore was still in concussion protocol or was unwilling to answer. With the parity of teams in the top 25, the amount of backup QBs currently starting; could Lanning have encouraged Moore to sit the rest of the regular season and "run-it-back" next year? Could Moore have come to this decision on his own as well? I personally would lean towards seeing him this season; however, it wouldn't be unprecedented. Thursday at 06:00 PM3 days No. This is what I was thinking after he was out for two weeks and not playing last week. Perhaps he doesn't want to hurt his NFL stock by playing with a sub par O line.

Thursday at 07:11 PM3 days No. Pure guess on my part but I doubt we see Dante Moore again this year. Perhaps by now the concussion is a bit behind him but what about the psychological issues? Let's not forget that his mother was threatening to sue USC, the USC player and others. Family is invested in a number of ways. JMHO. GO DUCKS!
Thursday at 09:54 PM3 days No. Agree. I think Moore has taken his last snap in an Oregon jersey. Just my opinion.

Thursday at 11:40 PM3 days Administrator No. The rumors that have some weight to them has Dante Moore playing at home against Northwestern, with the crowd behind him, to prepare for going to Columbus the next week. Not certain, but a strong rumor… Mr. OBD
Thursday at 11:44 PM3 days Moderator No. I think NFL recruiters and talent evaluators are cognizant enough to understand that a subpar OL would result in reduced QB performance and isn't an indicator of bad talent. My guess is that Dante will be back once he's medically cleared and in shape.
1 hour ago1 hr No. I went through a concussion a few years ago from being rear ended by another car when I stopped for deer in the road. I felt OK at first, then 15 minutes later, it hit me. As I was recovering the next few weeks, it got worse and my head was a mess and sleep was hard to get. I was in a fog for a long time, but I eventually got back to normal. Dante was down on the ground after his hit. That is a sign that it is real bad. A lot of concussions creep up on you. His was right away. He didn't even sit up. He just layed on the ground. That is a lot of head trauma to the brain. Not just the hit, but also the rebound of the helmet going back and hitting the ground. I think equal chance he comes back before regular season ends or doesn't. He can't be out there before ready or D linemen will break him in half. Then if Ducks keep losing and O line play is suspect, there may not be a reason to bring him back. Let DR play and see if he looks like he could start next year.
