Yesterday at 07:52 PM1 day Administrator No. Rumors are flying that since he is out a couple of weeks, that he might decide to be done for this year. Mr. OBD
Yesterday at 08:29 PM1 day No. Apparently it wasn't enough to lose yards every time we run a player into the flat to catch a ball with his back to the defense, we can knock them out for the season too.I called these plays the "sitting duck" play for reason. I feel bad for Jordan.
Yesterday at 08:34 PM1 day No. Davison has looked like he was fighting an injury all year and never quite had the crisp pop of acceleration and change of direction he had last year.It maybe best for him to fully heal and get ready for next year or if by some chance the Ducks make the playoffs he'd be ready to go then.
20 hours ago20 hr No. Why are these players "deciding" to shut it down for the year. You are getting paid a lot of money to play. So play.

So play. What are you seeing that I’m missing? In my perspective, Davison has looked injured all year. For Moore, there is a small percentage of concussions that linger and it’s entirely possible that is what is happening. I don’t see either Davison or Moore helping their financial futures by not playing. If Moore came back and led the team to victory, especially if the offense hummed with him leading, his draft prospects would improve dramatically ($$$$). For running backs especially, getting a reputation for being constantly injured is a kiss of death.

I don't know.Tua missed 2 games after getting hauled off to the hospital. The week before he was injured on a sack they called a back injury, probably concussion tho. This led to huge changes in NFL rules. At this point, Moore is either permanently damaged and the risk of a second concussion is super risky to life time health or he is just scared (understandable). Not sure which. Either way, he should retire from football before he gets himself hurt permanently. I hope he moves on to the draft, he is no longer, imo, a viable option at QB for Oregon. It's odd to me that these decisions to shut it down come in the wake of huge payoffs in NIL. It will be interesting to see if SID (shut it down) becomes a trend after injury for players that come back for one more year.Food for thought. Edited 8 hours ago8 hr by Log Haulin

The doctors haven't cleared him so maybe it's worse than we thought. The brain is not something to mess with. Two weeks after Dante's injury a player from Southern Nazarene University (D2) named Tyler Ulrich was killed while making a helmet to helmet hit on an opposing player. He was unresponsive on the field and he eventually died from a subdural hematoma a couple of days later in the hospital.

Not sure all the details. Some guys at work that live in Sweet Home were saying it was a hemorrhage. With Donte mental health issues he has made public, I han see where he would be chuck full of fear (my speculation). Football is not a game for the fearful.I was saying multiple things in this post. I am grateful you picked up on the most concerning point. The other point is my more pessimistic side, just something I have noticed but hope is wrong. Edited 33 minutes ago33 min by Log Haulin
