  2. Come on, Man! You can't see 40,000 cardinal colored tee shirts blending in with the robust cardinal-colored seats. What, are you blind? 🤪 According to Delta Force, camouflage helps you Fake On!🥸
  3. In fairness, it was 88 degrees and 60+% humidity in UVA's sold-out Scott Stadium.
  4. OBD had more fans at the Spring game. 54,000? At least 44,000 were disguised as empty seats. This looked like way back in the day: Bowdoin vs Colby, with three dozen or so canines missing from the sidelines, and a half dozen kegs missing from the stands. As I noted in another post: Way to rep the big ten. And these guys get a full share? 🤮
  5. Limit injury potential on starters when game is out of reach, and develop reserves and younger players. Build up the true freshmen that have shined in camp to get experience in games. Some of them sound like potential starters or major rotation players by later in the season. Need to keep starters fresher for a 16 game schudule

  7. Typo on the "official attendance ". 5114 at best
  8. The "official attendance" was 51,144. Yes, that's the official box score. There is no freakin way that many people showed their tickets at the turnstiles. It was warm. It was SJSU. But, it was the home opener with roster and assistant coach changes. Those photos looked like recent snapshots at the Rose Bowl when UCLA had struggling attendance. Wonder if there were any recruits that Oregon is pursuing who were taking an official visit?
  9. The cost of the least expensive ticket kept many away.....$9. LOL. In fairness....it was over 90 degrees in a stadium with no shade. Playing a bad team. When they play Oregon it will be packed. Of course the game may be over by half time.
  10. Early report is the 21-pt comeback is biggest in Cal-Davis history, surpassing an 18-pt deficit comeback at Montana in 2018, then trailing 21-3 at half-time. Davis also trailed by 19 at half vs N. Arizona in 2012 and Davis won. You gotta ache a bit for Portland State... Davis has been on the other end of it. Davis led N. Dakota State 24-0 at half in 2006, but lost.
  11. PSU led 21-0 at half-time in Hillsboro over FCS No. 6 Cal-Davis. Final: Davis 31-24 after second half rally, and TD with 27 secs. remaining. Last TD helped by PSU defensive lapses and PSU personal foul giving Cal-Davis great field position late. PSU schedule: Cal Davis at San Diego St North Dakota at Oregon
  12. USCs 2nd team is horrible. It will be interesting to see how Oregons 2nd unit looks, how much drop off. With all the hype around Oregon, sure hope they can start pulling the 1s early 3rd. Dan will pull them for sure.
  13. I have a Duck-Buddy who wondered what the majority of us Oregon fans were thinking on this issue--if the game goes well for the Ducks....do we think Dan Lanning will run the score up on Boise State to make a national statement of which can help us as the season progresses? Or do we think he will not, and use this opportunity to play the reserves, and get them some playing time at game-speed? Fox Crader I vote for him playing the reserves, because we MUST build depth. It is a long season, and we need the great young talent to get confidence in a game, and thus be ready to start later. Fox Crader gave himself, the coaches, and the fans great confidence with his play in the USC game last year, but he gave us glimpses in earlier games when he came in briefly. Which do you choose? Both help the team one way or the other...
  14. SPOILER ALERT - Scores of games appear below. UNC 15 - TCU 10 - Instead of this game, it's a toss-up whether I'd rather watch two guys fish for guppies or paint dry. The difference between playing at Harvard and TCU: QB Jaden Craig's receivers at Harvard could catch the football. SJS at USC - How to represent the Big Ten Trojans: I believe OBD had twice as many fans attend the Spring game. Yes, it was 92 degrees at KO, but at KO for NC State at UVA it was 86 with 60% humidity, and the stadium is sold out.
  15. Yep…need a VPN connected to a server in the US to bypass restricted licensing areas when traveling. Nord works well from Mexico.
  16. when abroad, we use a VPN (Nord but there are others) and simply use Xfinity stream--one benefit of cable. the vpn uses a Seattle server, or whatever location you choose; and the provider thinks that is where we are. Some channels are restricted to in home wifi and i have to record those and watch later.
  17. 10-2 regular season 38 PPG O 12.6 PPG D 34-31 Ducks NCG
  18. 16-0 38.6 PPG offense 12.7 PPG defense 28-16 national champ game
  19. Not sure if I’m looking at a Vogue ‘Ultimate Make-Over’ or something to do with football. The problem - as always - with attempting to replicate someone else’s success is everyone else is eyeing the same solution. The pickings just get thinner and thinner as the discards are falling through the cracks.
  20. Does anyone know the best streaming sites to watch games out of country? Going to Honduras and will be gone for the first 2 games. Central America could be a challenge but I am not sure.
  21. Great take, Log. Thanks. This year's group of oldies and hopefully goodies plays today. This season's rest home is located in Charlottesville, Virginia, on the campus of Mr. Jefferson's University. Virginia -5.5 vs NC State. The Cowboys model in part copies Cig's first year at Indiana. Coach Eric Morris has brought many of his best North Texas players with him from North Texas to Stillwater. Mike Gundy had thrown in the towel. I'm not certain that Coach Morris had any choice but to start from scratch. We get to watch QB Mestemaker and listen to the Paddle People in Week 2.
  22. I knew early in camp there would be good material left on the cutting-room floor. Today, I went back to it. From the Fall Camp Notebook: the offensive answers that never made the daily story. From the Fall Camp Notebook: The offensive answers that n...Oregon’s fall camp left plenty in the notebook. Some of those unused answers look more interesting now.
