  1. Past hour

  2. I have to take a hard look at the entire picture before I make definitive judgements on the coaching staff. There are mountains of evidence to pour over. But I am sure the team's confidence is shattered. I do know this: same as it ever was is a recipe for disaster. I'd rather see a 1890s scheme than what we have seen the past three years. But that's just me. We have to let nature take it's course while Lanning decides what he is going to do.
  3. Did Lanning take an IV after the game?
  4. At least Texas lost to an UNRANKED opponent -__it happens.
  5. Or Will Stein. Could mot agree more.
  6. Message Board meltdowns are both frustrating and understandable. We all need to know our limits. I tell myself it’s better to wait if I think I might cross lines. There’s a significant amount of self-talk on a day like today. But brother, it ain’t easy.
  7. He beer get back on the field and earn his 5 million and a shot at the pros's.
  8. Writing negative is FINE. Just not the same thing twenty times is all. Discussion of player performance and coaching decisions that is negative is FINE. I swear....people don't know the difference. What do I do? Allow anything? Then you have things go to pot in a hurry. Yet if I try to take the worst over-the-top away....people become scared to write a post at all. This is not hard; how do I convey it?
  9. Hey, anyone want a good deal on a brand new Duck jersey? I'll never wear it again.
  10. You are correct. All I was saying was that Chesney isn't the great guru. We don't need to swap coaches. But yeah, something major needs to happen for the offense and I'm finally convinced that maybe it's the OC. I mean, the defense is the reason we had any chance at all.
  11. It's a shock to watch a complete collapse of a team that looks strangely similar to Penn State's last year. I can't figure out how Lanning lost this group, but he has. He has looked worried most of this year. And it would have been a very eerie version of the Ducks versus Them documentary/propaganda piece this time had OBD won the game. I'll support this team until my cold dead hands lose their grip in death.
  12. Don't worry Log H. I am sure you're echoeing many thoughts and feelings. We have to adjust our expectations...lots
  13. At least clemson won 2 NC's. We're not anywhere near clemsons level.
  14. I agree with your title and what I hate is waiting for so freaking long to see a change. I really thought Lanning was going to stick with DR and three more picks. I was really hoping for OT and part of that was to let Brock get his moment in the sun.
  15. More worried about the portal departure train. Lanning has some serious decisions to make in a hurry around Dec. 1st to rebuild a staff and keep the recruiting class...as well as the existing talent, and figure out the portal needs. The biggest problem has clearly been coaching and schemes.
  16. FG Lumber was the only one to pick UCLA, so he wins. Thanks to all for being a part of it, and it will get more fun in future games! Congrats to FG Lumber!
  17. I am sure I have crossed the line a little. I am super angry. I will try and stop posting for the rest of the day. Sorry Charles. Man... *$^@%!
  18. Coach (I use that title lightly) Meh' should be cleaning out his locker as we speak. I didn't read the article, but whatever they said didn't go far enough. #FireCoachMeh'
  19. Today

  20. Do the math. There are five O line players and 11 on defense. This year, it seems that every run play the Ducks run, all 11 defenders are going after the RB. Not only has the O line players changed, but so has the OC. It is hard as a fan to tell what is the problem: scheme and play calling or the linemen. I agree with you on World, Harkey, and Pregnon. They were beasts. But as these games go by, I am more and more thinking that the offense is 'stale' and the opposing coaching staff already knows what the plays are. If you could have brought those three players back for this game, would it have made a difference? I can't really answer that question. But my best guess would be: Oregon would have won, but barely and it would not have looked good.
  21. I am a fan of coaches that take good talent and make it great talent and win games--not so much of the opposite But all teams eventually lose at some point.
  22. Nope. Go Ducks. Get right and get the next one.
  23. Three items: 1) Keep it clean. We've been this way all along, and we're not changing now. You can write your displeasure without curse words and profanity. 2) Don't get personal with the coaches and players. Now discussing poor player performance or coaching is fine--always has been. 3) Be a loyal fan....not a bandwagon fan. What we are going through...every team has gone through. 4) Don't vent on us. Tell us your negative thoughts, but after a few times--we got it. Beyond that should be on a therapist's couch, not here. And don't bug out from the forum; we have so many good people here--stay connected and share your thoughts. My thanks, Charles
  24. I think Brock Thomas has earned the start against Nebraska
  25. I had been sort of planning for how I would watch the next 4 games in the midst of anniversary travel plans and family gatherings. Now I'm not.
  26. Yes. That’s what I was thinking. The TCU game where VA got hurt and Lockie played the second half. The offense couldn’t even snap the ball consistently the rest of that game.
