  2. It looked great in every respect. Something that we expected from the start of the season and started seeing against USC and UCLA. The offensive line looked better. Nebraska is good team. They took Indiana to the wire in their only earlier loss. I almost have the feeling like the one after The Pick, which fueled our 1994 season.
  3. I did post the examples of QBs having good games and then a horrible one, followed by excellent play after that. That written, I wanted Thomas to start. Has it ever occurred though, that a QB had a good game (Riola v USC) followed by a terrible one (UCLA) followed by a good one, and his replacement in his off game looked good but then was ineffective when he replaced the first QB as a starter. If a Duck fan was imprisoned and had to watch most of the game tonight, it would violate the Constitution's prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment. As it turned out, it was a game I will always remember in a positive way.
  4. Raiola leads game-winning drive to send Oregon past | theScore
  5. Winners: Raiola, Tuioti, Wyatt, Lott & Jamari Losers: Dan, Thomas & Davison Dylan Raiola and the biggest winners and losers as the former Husker saved Oregon's season
  6. Offense. It’s offensive. Lol Oregon football for decades had me believing we would get a touchdown on every drive yet today I doubted that we could even get a first down. Still predictable play calling, O—line issues, receivers can’t get open two games in a row. At what point does Drew really need to be stepped aside. And what is with Guys not knowing rules on special teams…coaching errors everywhere.
  7. Oregon football: Dylan Raiola named Ducks Wire Player of the Game
  8. If you beat a team with really good players like Oregon, bama, Georgia, Ohio St, Texas, then you deserve to move up in the rankings.

  10. It's startling to me that DR was not given the entire first half to see how he could rebound from UCLA. Then it was startling to see the offensive plan was to play not to lose. Then it was startling to me to see BT not get benched to start the 3rd quarter. It's very startling that we won a game by only playing 1 quarter of intentional offense. But man I enjoyed the cage our D made for that squirrelly QB.
  11. I would have put Raiola in after the first two possessions.
  12. If I had to pick . . . NEITHER ☹️
  13. The last two games, under 60 yds offense at half-time. The offense.
  14. Agree on all points…..and mystified by the decision to open the 2nd half with Brock as the QB. I’m sure Dan will explain it, but I was shocked when he trotted out there.
  15. Game options picked for the networks: Pacific Time Rutgers at Northwestern - 9:00 - Peacock Indiana at Michigan - 9:00 - Fox Oregon at Illinois - Noon - B1GN Iowa at Minnesota - 12:30 - FS1 Michigan State at UCLA - 12:30 - CBS USC at Wisconsin - 4:30 - NBC byes: Maryland, Nebraska, Ohio St, Penn St, Purdue, Washington

  17. The offense was good on the final drive - that is what is startling to me. The same guys (with exception of QB) who were terrible all game, all of a sudden, learned how to play football. By the way, when a QB came in who was a threat to go deep, the O line could block. Probably because 5 didn't have to block all 11. What surprises me in a bad way is how bad Thomas was today and how bad Raiola was vs UCLA. What are they doing in practice all week that they can't get ready for Saturday? And I am surprised in a good way how good the defense has gotten since the first two games.
  18. Easy - That the offense is so bad. But as Raiola said “we preserved in the end”. 🤣 A couple of things: 1) I can’t believe Lanning waited that long to make the switch, but I guess it worked. 2) The defense is really, really good.
  19. Limited to those two: that our offense is bad. What actually surprises me is that our offense seemed limited for three quarters two games in a row, and then improved.
  20. Charles, the most surprising thing to me was that DL left Brock in for 3 quarters. Huh?! How can we be surprised about the crappy offense? We have seen it before. We have won before. For me, that was the most boring game I've ever watched beginning to end ... AND with the most exciting finish.
  21. Reminds me of the downfall of Helfrich. He did good his first year with Chip's players, then it tanked. Lanning can bring in the player talent, but he is garbage on offense unless he brings in a top tier OC.
  22. That the offense was so bad. Seventeen Points. Thought we would lose. But I won my bet... Never again
  23. I am amazed, speechless, and asked myself that same question, Charles. I think though up reflection, the offense.
  24. Which is more surprising to you....that we won, or that our offense is so bad?
