CFP PLAYOFF DISCUSSION THREAD
Not me, get in the game and with a W the committee becomes irrelevant. Only an SEC 9 - 3 team will get the nod.

MBB: Coverage of Men's Basketball Program (4)
It was locked up on the B1G+ app but Men's BB won their "scrimmage" game against Eastern Washington 98-71. Wei Lin led all scorers coming off the bench, team shot sixty percent from the field and had over twenty assist once again. Onward and upward. Go Ducks.

SEC Discussing Luxury Tax for Schools Exceeding House Settlement Cap
Not political, factual. With Tuesday's election results, the Preserve College Sports Bill (Bill) is not expected to pass. I'm not surprised the Power 2 are trying to provide relief similar to the Bill, but will independent actions survive in shark (lawyer) - infested waters? What happens when a conference member (for some reason, LSU comes to mind) tells Greg Sankey to take a hike? I think we're at the point where the SEC tells LSU to get lost. IMO, the larger issue is figuring out a way to regulate transfers. Can this be done without a collective bargaining agreement?

Oregon - Ohio St. Pre-game Reports, Interviews, Etc.
Ohio State is down from a -10.5 favorite to -7.5 As Coach Corso often said, "Someone knows something I don't know." Will JJ and Dylan deliver back-to-back? Keepin' the Faith!

New Federal Court Decision on Five-Year Eligibility Rule Favors NCAA
Don't ask this retired attorney WTHeck this means. I zoned out when it stated "though the win does nothing to tamp down dozens of similar lawsuits playing out in state courts across the country." NCAA secures win in struggle for five-year eligibility rule - ESPN

So...Where ARE the NegaDucks We've Seen So Much Of?
It's all about expectations, just like the stock market. Buy on rumor and sell on news :) Most fans expected a lot from these Ducks this year, and rightfully so. So when they underperformed, people get mad. But when they won, it's just how it should be and there isn't much to say about it. This is the nature of the beast now in this day and age. I think it shows how far this program has come. It's great and sad at the same time. Hopefully we do punch through to the top and win that elusive natty one day, hopefully in Uncle Phil's life time!

Prediction Contest of Oregon vs. Ohio State: Join Us!
Oregon WINS! 23-21 2 T.O. 5 SKS 302 YDS Pass. Beginning of the season I had this as our only loss, primarily because of their receiving phenom. But, I think our QB and running game will be the difference, with our defense pressuring the young QB all day long! Of all the games this season this is the one that our .... 🦆🏈🪨's ! Oregon Set to Welcome Back Starting Wide Receiver Jeremiah McClellan Against Ohio State
Great timing. Probably not in game shape but still a threat you have to game plan for.

Oregon is Hot, Now They're Done, Oh They're Back, No They Are Finished, And So On...
Playoffs, yes. And a bowl game, yes. Bonus, more practices for the non-millionaire DLinemen since I assume the "pro ready" guys will sit along with Poncho and Wilson.

Oregon Set to Welcome Back Starting Wide Receiver Jeremiah McClellan Against Ohio State
Oregon wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan is expected to return from injury Saturday against Ohio State, giving the Ducks a major boost on offense.Oregon's offense is expected to receive a significant boost ahead of Saturday's showdown against No. 12 Ohio State, as starting wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan is reportedly set to return to action after missing the Ducks' last six games due to injury. According to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz, McClellan is expected to play for No. 23 Oregon when the Ducks travel to Columbus for one of their biggest games of the season. Should McClellan play on Saturday, this would mark just the second game all season that the Ducks' top three receivers of McClellan, Evan Stewart, and Dakorien Moore plus starting tight end Jamari Johnson have played in the same game. The first was the season-opening game against Boise State. https://247sports.com/college/oregon/article/oregon-set-to-welcome-back-starting-wide-receiver-jeremiah-mcclellan-against-ohio-state-292254169/

Prediction Contest of Oregon vs. Ohio State: Join Us!
This is the most probable game we lose all year, but nobody should be shocked if we win either. I'll be a fan this week. OSU will have trouble running on us, compared to USC, and we don't have to worry about a running QB, so we can press harder with the pass rush on a young QB that has to carry the offense. My prediction only works if we win the turnover battle, and don't give up the edges on defense all game long, which is honestly a very tough ask given precedence. 24-20 Oregon 2 TO 4 sacks 235 yards

Agree. One of the cardinal rules of life that seems to have been discarded is to be very careful with the words you choose, because once something is said, you can never take it back. That’s why venting is generally best done in private.
