GameDay Thread! Our Beloved Ducks vs. Nebraska....Join Us Before & DURING the Game!
Let's discuss the Nebraska game before and during, here in this thread with fellow intense Oregon fans. Being critical of coaching decisions and player performance is FINE, as that is what we do in a forum. But do not get personal towards the players, coaches, or fellow OBD forum members. But being angry, joyous,....all of it is normal and fine, so enjoy the game! A Good Win Last Time....

Ohio State QB Injury
Clearly the SEC has a secret bounty program to take out B1G quarterbacks. Totally believable. Also, I have a bridge for sale if anyone’s interested... 🤪

Down Goes Texas....Again
Texas will plunge two spots following that loss. Almost as far as Mississippi St.’s 3 spot plunge following a 0-31 loss. Florida and LSU back in the top 5.

Ohio State QB Injury
With Sayin's injury today, there are now 6 starting QBs in the Big Ten who are out with injuries. Along with starters who aren't meeting expectations, it is something every reserve QB should think about before flirting with the portal.
-
Ohio State QB Injury
Ryan Day stated postgame that he did not have all the details yet, but that Sayin would "probably be out several weeks". Day likely didn't have a full diagnosis.

Ohio State QB Injury
While we should never want to see an injury to our guys or those on other teams, Ohio State QB Sayin left the game today with a shoulder injury with about 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. We play tOSU on November 7. If it is a pinched nerve, he should be good to go by tomorrow. The other possibilities would might keep him out of the game against us. When a quarterback leaves a game holding a limp, dangling, or heavily supported arm (often cradling the elbow or forearm in a sling or jersey position), it typically points to a significant structural shoulder injury. The recovery timeline depends heavily on the specific diagnosis and severity: Common Shoulder Injuries and Timelines AC Joint Sprain (Shoulder Separation): Grade 1 (Mild): About 1 to 2 weeks of recovery. Grade 2 (Moderate): About 2 to 4 weeks. Grade 3 (Severe): Can take 6 to 12 weeks or longer, and may require surgery if the stability is severely compromised. Shoulder Dislocation or Subluxation: Conservative (No Surgery): Typically takes about 6 weeks to return once strength and range of motion are restored, though rushing back carries a high risk of re-injury. Surgical Repair: Requires 5 to 6 months of rehabilitation before returning to contact sports like football. Labral Tear or Rotator Cuff Strain/Tear: Minor strains: 2 to 4 weeks of rest and rehab. Severe tears or surgical intervention: Can sideline a player for several months to a full season.

Down Goes Texas....Again
And Bama not looking very good to far either. Down 6-0. Tenn threatening again
-
Down Goes Texas....Again
They should be definitely out of the Top-15 but I'm not holding my breath.
-
Down Goes Texas....Again
And how far will they fall for losing a close one to an unranked team?

Indiana vs tOSU
Nice to see something not work out for Indiana, seemed like everything has gone their way with injuries, penalties, and bounces....Yes I'm very bitter.
-
Indiana vs tOSU
Good, I want ohiO statE to relax a little...

Indiana vs tOSU
OSU wins the battle, but may lose the war if Sayin is out for 4-6 weeks with a broken collar bone. The backup is not good enough yet to play winning football and their running game is average.
-
Indiana vs tOSU
Wow. Indiana barely step out of bounds negating a beautiful last minute 4th down touchdown pass . tOSU wins 19-15.
-
Indiana vs tOSU
Oh, that is brutal. They had it. The receiver was not aware of the boundary.
-
Indiana vs tOSU
Wow. Well, even Cig loses now and again.

Down Goes Texas....Again
Exactly!! I am sure that they will lobby, cry, and snivel that their league is just SOOOOOO hard and that even with 3 losses, their teams should still be Top-10.
-
Down Goes Texas....Again
It bring a tear to my eyes see parity the SEC. With them cannibalizing themselves and the 9th league game still to go It'll be interesting to see how the 9-3/8-4 SEC teams are treated this year.

Indiana vs tOSU
Hmm, will Sayin be healthy by the time the Ducks play Ohio State. "So you're saying there's a chance?"

It is a good game, but unless Oregon is playing, it seems like I have been watching it for 9 hours, and the third quarter just ended.

Fall Camp News - Is It Believable?
It’s just a good thing that all that feel good, everything is hunky-dory stuff has faded into the rear view mirror.
