I can’t disagree with this sentiment. One of those mysteries of sports how this could be the same guy. Lanning also mentioned that he was not pleased with how they practiced yesterday, and that if particular players didn't get the job done, they would find players who would. Not sure, but it sounded like he was referring to the guys who are supposed to make tackles on the perimeter. Loved his passion & perspective.

Kirby Smart asked about UGA OL, said it didn't face any adversity so there's still things to sort out. Ouch.

Surprised and disappointed that the long awaited Sewell & Flowe linebacking tandem didn't have more of an impact on the game. Always felt that if we could just get the two of them healthy and on the field together they would be a major factor. Not sure what to expect going forward. Also, haven't heard anyone mention the "havoc" factor that Lanning's defenses are coached to create. Didn't look like our d was causing havoc anywhere at anytime--maybe in the DC booth!

My stomach turned last Saturday when one of our d-backs was flexing and woofing after a wide open Georgia receiver dropped an easy catch. I think we were only down 28-3 when that bit of sportsmanship took place.

At one point in the third quarter our d-line had that woeful look of "someone else is going to have to make a play because I'm tired of pushing". Not surprising to see Georgia convert 9 out of 10 third down conversions when there is so little apparent pressure from the defensive line.

Seems like right out of the shoots DL might have a culture problem. Effort looks mediocre at best.

Wow, defense seems lost. Surprised to say the least. I really thought with Lanning's previous accomplishments we would be better on that side of the ball.

Have to agree with Charles in always preferring "the rich color of green" in the photo he posted. However, if the Ducks do to Georgia what they did to the last reigning champions they played, I may have to rethink my preferences!

Those who enjoy trying to diminish the value of Oregon as a national brand have a hard time with realities like this game. The facts speak for themselves. People are in to Oregon football. When the Ducks play big programs, there is big interest. Go Ducks!

Lady Ducks shot 21% from the floor that first quarter and 0% beyond the arc. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a L if that doesn't improve a bit. Go Ducks!

Does anyone have an explanation for what happened to Will Richardson? He went from being Seth Curry like, wide array of shots and playmaking skills, Pac-12 Player of the Week, then O for 100 (or so it seems) when everything was in front of the team to play for. Absolutely baffling.

Wasn’t Justin Herbert one of the aforementioned former players group? Can’t imagine any possible advantage to stonewalling former players that include gems like him. Seems like sort of a package deal. I say invite them along for the ride.

Just watched a You Tube video on Bill Walton. I wanted to recall what good post play looked like. You may not like his commentating, but the guy put on a clinic of how Big's should play: Intimidating presence inside, timing his shot blocking attempts without fouling or over committing, nice array of moves and shots around the rim, and best of all, a master at distributing the ball to his teammates. Where has that kind of inside presence gone?

Our bigs are baffling. JC's article in the O summs up my feelings on Oregon's big men: The bigs are absent. Weren't these guys 4 & 5 star recruits out of h.s.? How is that they now appear to have difficulty not traveling or turning the ball over when they touch it? Why has a simple kick out pass when double teamed become a non-option? Baffling.

Calling it irresponsible journalism seems kind. Maybe we should borrow a tactic from the Wannabes up north and defuse the hostility with a little humor!

Would it be more acceptable if he said, "Hey, it will be great to see all you Duck fans at the game!" Why so much negativity attributed to words that you may be entirely misinterpreting? Maybe we need to heed our own advice!

Being manhandled by Utah twice in three weeks with superior athletes and so much on the line should have caused someone to hit the pause button. Oh well, you get what you pay for...or is it you get what you deserve?

"If he gets his quarterback game over." I would say, "If he gets his quarterback, game on!" Bryce Young is a pretty good quarterback, he was surrounded by top rung talent, and Lanning's defense did a decent job making a game of it. Not as if he'll be out of his league with SC.
