Bama knotted at 3 early 3rd v. South Florida. Texas win might not be that impressive.

Coach Dan Lanning's Old Colorado Comment Going Viral Today
Buffs haven't played a conference game yet. Gunna have to set the brakes on that one for a sec I have given Deon his due. Stated plainly what I think of his talents in another thread. It's clear you are a fan. I get it, a lot of people are. Dude is super polarizing. He was one of a few players that sewered me on NFL. The arrogance that showed up in the league around 2k was a huge turn off for me. It's no secret I don't like the guy. His accomplishment are impressive though. And thats the bottom line. All about the Benjamins. And thats why he is here for awhile. Every media outlet out there will pump this untill the last dime. Many of the same people overjoyed about the cash generated also groaned over the cash controling realignment. The play Deon is getting on OBDF alone is crazy. Doesn't make sense the love the guy gets after beating 2 weak teams. But he will get one more then 2 straight losses. That should quiet the noise till next year

Noles almost got beat by BC. Had 457 yards hung on them. Hope FSU fan isn't like Duck fan. Everyone would get fired. Georgia down at half? Wow...

While everyone is tripping over their tongues with Buffs (sorry USuC, your love fest is over), i think the Beavs are the Dark horse to win the conf. O line, Defense and a very good quarteback. I got the picked to beat USuC in LA. Thats a good football team in Corvallis

Coach Dan Lanning's Old Colorado Comment Going Viral Today
I said as much in another post. The problem is... this isn't pro wrestling. This is college football. The use of kayfabe and "your mama" jokes has no place here. Sanders is bad for college football as a whole. The bill will come due and Sanders will dine and dash. College football is changed forever due to NIL and realignment. Now we have the clown show that is Colorado. Again... be careful what you celebrate. The cost of admission could end up being more than you are willing to pay.

Coach Dan Lanning's Old Colorado Comment Going Viral Today
Deon Sanders has used his fast talking mouth to try and motivate his team. I get it, thats Deon. It's what he has always done. But Deon isn't going to play a single snap. What Sanders doesn't realize is that he has put a huge target on his team. Every team that goes up against CU is going ro have a little more motivation to pound them into the dirt. Sanders will keep jawing. He can't help himself. Many will continue to buy into the hype. The major networks will make sure of it. It's a huge money maker for them. True colors will soon be revealed. I hope his players are mature enough to handle the adversity that is sure to come. Sanders has encouraged his team to fight at least once. We all saw the video. Careful of what you celebrate today. Tomorrow could show a much different truth. I hope I am wrong, but this doesn't look like it's going to end well for college football.

Ducks Offense: Klemm’s Entire Line Gone and Lost Forever?
I believe the O line will be better than average. This is a highly talented room playing for the first time together. I look at this TT game as the 1st game. PSU doesn't really count. First game out for the most difficult and important position group on the offensive side of the ball. Give it some time and this unit will be a great unit. Ducks have three games and a bye week before this group sees real talent outside of TT very stout Dline. Duck fans are funny. In the PSU game prediction, we had PSU scoring 11.5 pts on avg. They scored seven and many wanted Lupoi fired and Lanning run out of town. The O line will be fine. TT game was a brutal game. Oregon wasn't focused. The atmosphere was crazy. TT has a very good front seven. Lubbock is similar to the Palouse. And as said...1st true game. Ducks and this O line will come together and when they do, look out. Going to be a great season.

Sanders uses Kayfabe tactics. He kicked off his tenure at CU with a me against the world narrative. He is very good at it. He knows darn well what Lanning said and the meaning behind Lannings words. But Sanders needs an enemy. Some of the things he has said are misguided to creat the illusion. Yea... its all kayfabe.

Good... hype this thing up till it boils over. Hope its on billboards in Colorado. Hope it's played over and over and over. Get every eye in the country on this one. And when the Ducks thrash Buffs, all the sweeter. Oregon will just be the beginning of the end for this ridiculous love fest for the Buffs.

Ducks Losing Out on Brandon Baker
Ducks are going hard at Ayden Breland. AB also is a 5* Mater Dei kid. There is also a 5* WR out of Texas that is warm on Oregon. Forgot his name.

Can Ducks Feast on Hawaii Aggressive Pass Attack?
Hawaii’s offensive attack will test Oregon’s secondary all day long DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Hawaii is going to pass the ball early and often. Oregon’s secondary is going to need to... Hawaii loves to throw the ball. Super aggressive in the pass game with 20-30% deep. I think this will be a great game to sharpen both defefensive backs and front 7. Both units will have plenty of opportunity to showcase their skills. Lanning and Lupoi will be able to run a ton of scheme and get the defense much needed reps as they deploy much more of the defensive playbook. This is better competition than PSU by far. They should also have some breathing room they didn't have v. TT. This should be a great "coach'em up" opportunity for Lanning and his staff.

Ducks Football: 4 Things to Watch for Against Hawaii
No doubt about it. A ton of people are buying in. Deon is a living legend, arguably the best corner in NFL history. Top that with time at wide receiver, kick and punt return and MLB. Dude was a phenomanal athlete. There is no denying his coaching and recruiting abilities. What he did at Jackson State is impressive. Chances are he will make Colorado a winner. Deon has been crowned. He is mentioned in darn near every article written about college football. I wouldn't even have mentioned him if it wasn't mentioned in this article. Can't wait until the Ducks silence this noise. After that it will be Usc, UCLA, OSU, WSU and Utahs turn. Time to hit the hit the washer fluid button and turn this radio off.

Ducks Football: 4 Things to Watch for Against Hawaii
Ducks should throttle Hawii. Ducks first game in Lubbock has people concerned. Good reason, I guess. The lack of focus is a concern. Dropped balls and penalties were in abundance to say the least. But it was Lubbock, or Palouse 2.0. The reputation of playing night games there is for good reason. Looking ahead to Colorado shouldn't be a problem. Even if Duck are looking ahead they should beat Hawii. I doubt they do though after the lack of focus in Tx. They will dial it back and be focused on whats in front of them. I get why people are falling all over Colorado. People love shiny new things. And Deon seems to be just that. They beat TCU, TCU played in the NC last year. Nevermind TCU lost most of their best players. They beat Nebraska. Lol... yea, I watched that game. Nebraska is a whole different level of bad football. Buffs had a tough time with Nebraska D untill the D quit trying in the second half. Can't blame Nebraska D, there really wasn't a point trying to get the ball back to the O. But... Buffs are the new media darling. Deon sells. I am not ready to buy in yet. Atleast not this year. I suspect Buffs are the shiny used car that looks great. But you get it off the curb and down the road, the transmission starts slipping and the windshield wiper controls change the radio station. Think I will kick the tires a bit longer before I but in.

Oregon’s Defensive Front Shows Its Potential Against Texas Tech
Rushing three and they had to hold. This bodes well v. Hawii. If it's true about Hawii, and they throw 50 a game with 25% being long, Ducks should get a few more Picks and 6-7 sacks.
-
What About Oregon's Secondary?
Let's see... held an air raid to under 300 passing. Got hurt a little on TS running. 3 picks, one for six to ice it. 4 sacks, 5 if Mateo sack isnt negated by holding on TT. Beat an air raid team on the road in a similar environment to the Palouse. Very hostile crowd. A team that went 6-1 last year at home and beat Texas and Okie. Being the first game of the season (PSU doesn't count) I say the Ducks did pretty good.
