  1. Oregon has had some classy QBs that’s for sure.
  2. MC had the best QB in the nation and didn’t get it done at Oregon, you may have heard of him, because of his stubbornness and his poor game coaching he failed players miserably. If you think the Canes will ever have a QB with that kind of talent well good luck. There is no doubt that MC is a good recruiter but if he doesn’t relinquish responsibility to his staff he will have the same problem at Miami. All those 3 and outs kill a defense by the end of the season as it did ours. Hope the fans in Miami don’t get too far over their skis and get disappointed but I don’t see any other path.
  3. USC can draw just like the USFL.🤣
  4. Nix more than likely gets the spot but I think by years end if Butters doesn’t leave he will end up being the guy. Remember that Nix played in a much tougher conference and he has beaten Alabama. I know he threw a couple bad throws in the spring game but he also tossed some good ones and his deep balls have a very nice arc on them making the ball easier to catch. Spring games can be misleading because the strength of the team is spread around so it’s hard to get a gauge on where each QB is with the ones. I think Nix will be fine to start with and if he plays well he is more than capable of beating Georgia.
  5. Doesn’t having more bathrooms mean you will run out of hot water more often?
  6. Good pitching almost always beats good hitting. Just one of the facts of baseball.
  7. I hate to admit it but I don’t see a game on Spoiled Children’s schedule that they can’t win and will probably be favored in all but 2. Possibly Utah depending on how good they might be by the middle of the season and the game is on the road and Notre Dame who they get at home. WSU is at home or that game might be a toss up. The Ducks schedule looks to be awfully tough and could be 1 and 2 before league play begins. Going to be interesting for sure.
  8. If MC ever starts listening to others he might have a chance in Miami but we all have known people that just won’t shut up and listen and those types never change. I’m afraid he is doomed by himself.
  9. It’s too bad we have to go back to taking MC down but he certainly deserves it. It is also to bad that he wasted a potential Heisman trophy winner with his stubbornness and inability to coach a team during a game. Even as slow a pace as the offense was he could not keep up and as I said before his defenses couldn’t keep up as well. As far as Dan and company are concerned I believe we have a much more intelligent coaching staff that are younger and their brains might work a bit faster.😀 can’t believe I just said that. Hope I didn’t offend any old guard here but I’m in my 70s and my brain has slowed to a crawl. Took me an hour to jot this all down. So 80 plays a game! Maybe, but if not I bet my next Deshutes Hazy that they will be more fun to watch than they were the last few years and we as a group will not stress out and age any faster than we already are.
  10. I wonder if we should be done calling these kids Student Athletes. I would think that the ones jumping around from school to school would have a hard time getting a quality education. If it wasn’t for athletics a large portion of these kids would never attend college or pass admission standards.
  11. I’m just guessing but I’m sure the coaching staff has had sit downs with every player and discussed their future part in Eugene. Some will stay for the education but their future in college football may not be what they had hoped. I think we will see a few more changes before our trip to Georgia and I think this new staff we have will make the best moves for the team, I am confident in that. We all have comments about how young the staff is but there is NFL experience in this group not to mention a head coach that has a natty under his belt as a DC. I think DL is a good listener, unlike MC, and he has some studs to listen to. Going to be a roller coaster to start but I think things will smooth out by fall and from that point forward. Go🦆🦆🦆s
  12. Recruiting Devas is fun but if we don’t get stronger in the trenches does this really matter. Get me a Hines Ward and and a QB that can get him the ball and I will jump out of my high tops.
  13. Can’t wait to see the end results of this 2023 recruiting class when it is all done. Could be epic if they can keep this staff together.
  14. Can’t wait to get a big man that can stay out of foul trouble.
  15. I think 73 underclassmen applied for this years draft not to mention all the older and more mature kids that got more experience because of Covid setback. Not a good year to gamble. After the covid setback washes thru which I think will be within 2 years, very confusing for sure, these kids might have a better opportunity to move up to the next level.
  16. These kids and their agents that cause turmoil in the program should be shown the door.
  17. Until USC gets out of the Coffin they have been in they should probably 🤐🤐🤐
  18. My biggest disappointment Akili Smith.
  19. Bobby Moore is still my favorite. Had a very good nfl career.
