That’s what his agent is for. It doesn’t make sense that Kiffin would call for himself. However, it does make sense that PK doesn’t want him. It may not be that he dislikes him. It could mean that both sides are way off on the buyout which is very plausible. Oregon is going to want a very high one and Kiffin may want some clauses put in for certain NFL jobs or the Alabama job.

Yeah. This seems odd. Kiffin’s agent is Jimmy Sexton. He would seem to be the one calling Mullens and inquiring about the job and getting the contract details. To infer that Jimmy Sexton can’t get a hold of Mullens directly doesn’t seem plausible. He’s the biggest agent in the country.

I have mixed feelings on Feld. At first, I thought all the injuries fell under the umbrella of his strength and conditioning program. As I dug further, I found out how hard MC liked the guys to go in practice. A lot of full contact drills. I know that’s how Flowe got hurt. Now I’m wondering if their bodies were too beat up come game time.

He might get me to join Twitter. Of course, I would have to ditch the Nokia.

All of those recruits who were scrambling to USC one Riley was hired might have to give Oregon a 2nd look.

I hope he keeps that mentality because today’s kids are much different. The country was much different back then. I remember playing a HS playoff game at Autzen when it was nothing but a grassy hill surrounded by a gravel parking lot. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Thees kids today like to be pampered. Nothing wrong with it. Social media and TV highlight everything. In fact, Oregon is to blame for much of the hype and that’s a good thing Mario is just saying that because his facilities are trash right now. He has to try and sell the past to recruits. I’m interested to see how well he does without Bama or Oregon facilities backing him up.

That depends on the new coach and who he wants. I would like to see Salavea and B Mac stay. I would like to see DeRuyter and Feld leave.

I think a lot of people would be surprised at how many LDS players Oregon has on the roster.

He should let Belotti be the OC. However, his offense might be too advanced for what this teams is used to.

Chip did a really good job getting good players from the transfer portal this season. I listened to an interview he did on the radio. He said he needed to use it because UCLA lost a lot of players and it was a place he could go and find guys who could qualify academically. Anyway, if the Ducks land him they’ll need his experience and expertise in finding good talent in the portal.

If the Ducks hire Chip I know of a couple of good DC’s who have just been fired. One would be really motivated to stick it to the huskies and the other would love to take his frustrations out on Miami. Although Oregon is the reason Jimmy Lake got fired, they need each other. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Manny Diaz at Clemson since Venables left.

It would be just our luck that Boston College would open up and Chip would suddenly feel a yearning to go home to NE.

I think that keeping Coach Joe is imperative in this instance. Not as the RC, but just because he’s a great recruiter.

There will be many more. Hiring a new coach within the next week will be key.
