  1. Are you able to get this where you live? It’s a pretty good one as well.
  2. Leave it to “The U” to get busted during a time when it’s actually legal to pay players.
  3. Or USC with Riley’s offense and Cali QB’s who have decided to stay home. But seriously, if Oregon is playing Bama then something good is going on at Oregon.
  4. I love the defense angle to counter Riley. However, UGA’s pass defense hasn’t been great.
  5. Finebaum just mentioned something about Lanning to Oregon. He wasn’t definitive though. However, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. That said, I live in the Atlantic SE and I’m quite familiar with Dan Lanning. Great recruiter and great defensive mind. This is a total shift from the norm for Oregon (if true), but Duck coaches seem to do well with the support they get from the administration. It’s not splashy, but I hope it’s productive. he has recruiting connections in the SE and Midwest. I hope he keeps Salavea to lock down the West. Remember, Pete Carroll was a defensive coach and he did quite well. Hopefully, we can get some of those defensive players back who de-committed if this is all true.
  6. The portal is a good place to find kids who fit your system and also see game film on them against other college athletes. The portal is also a gamble if you don’t have a lot of film. It used to be your coach would help you find a team that fit you better (usually in a lower division). Now, kids just quit and go into the portal and hope somebody remembers them from their HS days. I’m sure some get help from their current coaches if they ask for it or if they’re being told they don’t fit with the team’s direction anymore. However, it’s probably the end for a lot of guy’s playing careers.
  7. My hope is Jerruh gets rid of McCarthy and goes with Kellen. Pittsburgh guys don’t belong in Dallas anyway. He’s been sent by the Rooney family to sabotage the Cowboys.
  8. 3. Jordan Bell can’t block out on free throws.
  9. It did nothing for UCLA. A school that Jim Mora consistently recruited top 15 teams to.
  10. If history is any kind of indicator, some poor UGA trash talker is going to get his jaw broke directly after the opening game is over.
  11. He saw what Mario’s offense did to Azzinaro’s defense. He wants no part.
  12. His announcement on the Bruin Report is the reason they’re leaving. They don’t want to play in his defense.
  13. We’ll need players to be 8-4. The mass exodus has yet to begin. Good thing for the portal.
  14. Like I said before. Where there is smoke, there is fire. The Cristobal news started out the same way. Welcome back, Chip…..I guess.
  15. This explains why we had 3 defensive players leave (2 decommits, 1 transfer) today. I would expect many more.
  16. Probably because the Bruin Report site is reporting that Oregon intends to hire Chip. No room for defense on this team.
  17. I’m hoping this is just the media making a mountain out of a molehill because Chip used to coach at Oregon.
  18. I think this idea came from one of Canzano’s callers on his show. He pretty much shut it down with common sense, but he was polite.
  19. I have the same feeling. However, I still hold out hope for that Lincoln Riley-like shocker.
  20. And if ESPN is reporting it then things are starting to smolder.
  21. I heard that his recruiting has tailed off since his days in LA. Ole Miss is 33rd. That’s pretty bad for a SEC school with 10 wins and an offensive genius as head coach.
  22. Here’s the problem. It’s public knowledge that Oregon can pay top dollar. Unfortunately, there are no top dollar coaches between the ones they’re interviewing. However, they all want that kind of money.
