  1. Imagine what he could do with quality coordinators.
  2. Springfield police don't agree with your street racing speculation.
  3. "Springfield Police told The Oregonian/OregonLive on Sunday that online rumors of street racing involving Oregon football players were unfounded, and that several Oregon players were contacted by police early Sunday morning because they were in the area of a separate pursuit. That pursuit, which resulted in Springfield Police discovering an abandoned vehicle, was unrelated to Stewart's alleged DUII arrest. Springfield PD is no longer pursuing the case involving the abandoned vehicle, an official said."
  4. I will add that on Talking Ducks Joey brought up a game he had with Miami against Buffalo. He pretty much sucked big time. There was no answer for him and he just did not have it that day. The game before he had a 107 passer rating against unbeaten Chicago. The he laid a turd against Buffalo. 0.0 passer rating. He said it happens. Is that what happened to Dillon? Was it just not his day? Maybe we'll find out next Saturday if Dante sits out again. I can't see DL starting Thomas again.
  5. If Dante were playing last night it wouldn't be close. So many errant passes thrown that Dante makes. Coaching and play calling aside the Ducks win with Dante no problem. Also the play calling would be different. Of course that's just last nights game. Previously it's a combination of everything. Coaches, play calling and talent level.
  6. I see more losses from failed two point conversions vs wins from a random unnecessary 2pt conversion. JMHO and call me ultra conservative but if you don't need the 2pt conversion then don't attempt it. Take the point(s) given.
  7. Follow the pattern. Bst win. Okst loss Pst doesn't count. USC win UCLA loss Neb win.
  8. When he stops going for two when it's unnecessary is when he's changed.
  9. Do player stars really matter? IN won with veteran 3-4 star players and a dang good QB. JMHO but all this failure falls on the coaches. Poor player coaching and poor game coaching. I find it hard to believe that we have 4-5 players on the O line that are busts. It's all on Lanning. He's young and inexperienced as far as coaches go and I hope he can swallow some pride and ditch his ego and make some positive changes for this season and next season. I like the guy as a coach and it would be nice to see him succeed.
  10. This^^^^ I said the same thing to my wife during the game. The intensity was off the charts compared to the Ducks.
  11. Going for two after the gimmie TD lost the game. Couldve gone to OT and the Ducks had so mojo at the end.
  12. The same media that started the hype train are the same media that needs to eat crow.
  13. Wow 4 games into the season with new players on the O and already looking for a new OC?
  14. Couldn't agree more. Ducks will be healthy and UCLA's just not that good. Moore or not the Ducks are not losing at home to UCLA.
  15. Actually the O only scored 17 points in the OkSt game. The D had a pick 6 and the D also set up one of the TD's on the one yard line. I give that one to the D. That puts the average score to 20.5 in the 1st two games.
  16. 60-13 Ducks 5 TO 6 Sacks 310 Pass It's redemption time.
  17. Those poor schools that never get to have new uni reveals. Can you imagine feeling entitled before you even took a snap? I get it that Autzen is special. I get that without Nike's presence the culture thats evolved at the UO wouldn't of happened. I get that the NIL has made it possible to recruit 4-5* players at will. But sometimes I wonder if all that has dampened the will to survive and taken some of that fight out of too many of the players. On a positive note I do like the old school colors.
  18. Problem with this loss is we've lost one of our mulligans to get into the CFP. Lose two more I doubt we make the CFP.
  19. Not buying the heat as a major factor. If it was that bad then the Ducks wouldn't of made a run in the 3rd and 4th qtr. IMO is was a typical DL team slow start. Saw it last year too many times. It's the lack of intensity at kick off. You have a team with 4*-5* players and one of the best group of players on D and you can't stop a rag tag team that's in a rebuild mode? I see it as a lack of preparation from the top down. The Ducks just weren't ready as they weren't ready for Bst. I'm gonna say it I'm not impressed with Hampton. It seems like our D has taken a step back. Many of the same players as last year and we let Okst score 39? Thats not just the heat.
  20. After this game yes. Prior to this game no. 2022=10-3 2023=12-2 2024=16-1 2025=13-2 2026=7-5? Big question is can he turn it around?
  21. The team lacks cohesiveness from the top down. Back when Cristóbal was the coach I called him the Clay Helton of the north. I think DL is now the Clay Helton of the north even though Clay's gone. More talent than most teams in the nation and it's being wasted. Oregon had this issue at times last year where they came out slow but they picked up steam as the game went on. This year they don't seem to have that ability. Oregon would've lost last sat if it was in Bst. Right now 7-5 would be predicted which is hugely disappointing. On the upside there's still a lot of football left. On the downside there's still a lot of football left.
