  1. Ducks miss USC for 2022 so maybe a match in the P12 Conf game? USC at Ore in 2023. Tough road ahead for the Ducks. Tough enough without a Riley coached USC on the agenda. If JM does leave the OC hire to replace him needs to be top notch.
  2. Who would be on your list if in fact JM does leave? Tedford?
  3. I like to focus on the 10-2 record. Theyve only lost one close game and it had outlying circumstances.
  4. A CFP for Oregon just got tougher.
  5. It's quite possible that barring the injuries the Ducks had that they could've come close to those wishes of 40-O, 20-D.
  6. Interesting how close OSU and OR yet the Ducks manhandled them yesterday. Seems that points per game is not a direct barometer to success. OR has the best overall W/L record in the P12.
  7. Big question is can he repeat it two games in a row? Has he ever done that at Oregon against teams with winning records? We'll find out Friday in Vegas. If he does repeat and beats UT then goes on to win the Rose, he'll be the most under appreciated QB I can remember. Lot's of if's to overcome though.
  8. Oregon shutdown BJ Baylor. That was impressive.
  9. Watching WSU's de Laura last night made me go Hmmm. He seemed more accurate and had better down field passing than AB. Both are gamers but de Laura seemed to have a better grasp of the game. Maybe WA helped IDK.
  10. The Ducks are just a good team in a weak conference. Guessing they'd be 7-5 or 8-4 in the SEC and BIG1. They have not learned how to walk the talk. It's easy to say physicality, it's another thing to be it. One thing I will note though is in many of the games the D has held their opponents to very few points in the 2nd half. That IMO has kept the team in the game allowing the Sloth of an offense to score. I'm hoping they come out fired up as for some it's their last game in Autzen. OT a little but why so many injuries? Do they need a different trainer?
  11. Geesh the cars still running and people are trying to shove the driver out.
  12. Up until last Saturdays loss to UT I would've picked Oregon over OSU by a slim margin. It's usually a tough game regardless unless either team's having a really bad year. I'm not sure the Ducks have enough healthy players in the right mindset to overcome a peaking OSU team. Beaves 34 Ducks 31 1 TO 3 Sacks 195 passing
  13. I'm not feeling very confident about this game. Lots of pundits thought Oregon would handle UT too. That didn't work out well. I know teams rebound from bad losses but this team seems to struggle early on in games even after a win. Helps that its played at Autzen. If this game were at Reser I'd 100% give the win to the beavs.
  14. Without spending hours doing research cause thats not in my wheelhouse I wonder how teams stack up against each other when you have injuries' and multiple players starting at one position and rotating in and out of other positions as far as player rankings goes. (4*-5*) Lots of poster are ranting about all this elite talent on the team and can't figure out why a FR can't just enter the game and be great since they were either 4* or 5*. Let say that that 4-5* FR has only played on the scout team up until the UT game. Now they're put in the game expecting to replace a 9 game starter or even backup the backup because the starter went out 2 games prior. Now we have a 3rd string 4-5* FR trying to make plays when he previously was watching the scout team or getting a few reps with the scout team. Take all the inexperienced 4-5* players that have had to fill in, sometimes in different positions and ask them to play against a 2-3 year 3-4* player. My guess is that the 3-4* player will be better against the 4-5+ player at their position simply because they've had several years playing that position. Point I'm getting at is players aren't elite until they become elite. Last I saw the Ducks were 9-2 and could be 12-2 after a bowl game. If that's not coaching up a team I'm not sure what is.
  15. I read the same thing about Chips team in his 1st year as an HC at Oregon. He had that deer in the headlights look in the Boise St game, then after a few more games the team took off. I wonder if MC is having the same issues. The problem with starting slow is getting seeded low in the NCAA tourney. Be nice to have a bye early on.
  16. The Valley Classic.
