The players all knew the HC and his staff. Change OU to UO, change Lincoln to Chip. The immediate results are the same but, when Chip didn't inherit an established system and staff, disappointing results are the norm. Fully agree. Part of the appeal of college sports was watching kids mature and improve, to become a team rather than a collection of individuals. This is becoming too much like professional sports which, with the exception of the Super Bowl, I seldom watch and certainly don't follow.
