This play has annoyed me for years. The receivers are almost never blocking correctly, the receiver of the ball is always turned sideways or backwards and not going forward and every team ALWAYS has people destroying it. It seems pointless.

It's startling to me that DR was not given the entire first half to see how he could rebound from UCLA. Then it was startling to see the offensive plan was to play not to lose. Then it was startling to me to see BT not get benched to start the 3rd quarter. It's very startling that we won a game by only playing 1 quarter of intentional offense. But man I enjoyed the cage our D made for that squirrelly QB.

Maybe Lanning is just holding stuff back so Ohio State doesn't know our full game plan?

The problem is Lanning's hubris in not hiring qualified F1 drivers to drive the F1 car level talent he paid to come play and thought he could grab Jimmy Lipper from the pit crew to race the car instead. As Lanning isn't an exceptional coach he reallllllly needs to be a better CEO and hire actual coaches and not just barely adequate buddies.

People commenting on Dak Moore leaving but Lanning offenses don't seem to wantt o really use wide receivers to their maximum. So if money was about the same I would go to another program that favored throwing downfield over moronic and poorly blocked passes out to the flat over and over and over.

Coaches getting frustrated with the O-Line? Hmmm who recruited and coaches the O-Line? Ahhh yes the coaches themselves.

One has to wonder why this has to be done nearly mid season? What have the coaches been doing all year? What do they do during the bye week? Why do we spend so much money on an O line that seemingly fails to properly protect seemingly a majority of the time? Why can't we either identify O Line talent and/or coach them up? Why does it seem we never beat teams based on scheme or coaching but on talent? Hoping our D can contain The Manhunter this week.

There is a fine line between confidence and arrogant hubris. To me he is a bit out over his skis and should have hired seasoned F1 Drivers to drive this supposedly F1 racecar of a roster. Hiring someone from the pit crew hasn't worked. Kind of the Jerry Jones style of cheaping out on the management when you pay a lot for talent.

Hire better coaches.

Please correct me where I am wrong as I don't understand all the football rules but.... As far as I understand the nanosecond a QB starts to slide they are down. Looking at the stills Dante starts sliding while the defender is still somewhat upright. His "tackle" was aimed at the shin level of an upright runner so I think he would have done a more traditional tackle if he thought Moore was running. So by my understanding his shoulder missile was intentionally aimed at where he thought Moore's head/shoulder area was going to be. So I just don't get the excuse making even by so called experts victim blaming Moore for sliding late. I have watched it over and over and looked at stills and cannot grasp how that can be anything but an intentionally head seeeking hit on a runner that is by rule already down. Then USC allows that utterly half hearted "apologies" to come out. They both seemed fake and insincere. I would much rather no apology be issues than a scumbag in sheep's clothing apology come out. Heck, Chris Simmspleton issued a seemingly more sincere apology. I didn't hate USC at all before but they are now part of my Unholy Hate Trinity with OSewe and The Montlake Bundyies...welcome SoCal Orenthals. Insert every curse word here.

If we still lived in a society of manners this guy would be off the team. Just like I would have kicked Holden off the Oregon team for spitting if I was dictator of Oregon sports. Then again I would make the first down point by a player a 5 yard penalty and replay the down.
