When we played Auburn and lost 21to 18 it was a heartbreak. A game in which Chip’s ego cost us a title. Even Nick Satan new you couldn’t run on Auburns line! What was seldom talked about was our defense that year. We held Auburn to 21 points. They hung 28 on Alabama, just a few weeks earlier, in just one half. When I see that kind of defensive attitude here again I will say we’re back. And Chip never had 4 and 5 star defensive recruits like Lanning has to work with. We will be facing a top three running back in two weeks and I think he’s faster, and better, than Royce was. if we stop UCLA’s run, we can win a shoot out. If not, it’s going to be a long day.

Sorry but when I saw they they placed a higher chance on us beating UCLA then Washington I laughed.

Ty hasn’t been used, and now a new top gun is coming to Oregon next year. Sorry but if I am Ty’s dad, I’m telling him to head to UCLA or Oregon State. Or look at a big 12 school. Not to mention Butterfield. Many think he is better than Ty. Why compete with all that when you do not have too?

He is built more like an SEC back.

I do as well. But he has the mannerisms of a young man who leaving ASAP. We have too many blue chip QB’s. If I am a five star and I don’t start I find a team who will use me. Simple as that. I would be there to make money and a name. College now is semi pro with people getting paid to play.

Ty has the look of a young man who has made up his mind to leave as soon as possible. We have another QB stud coming in, and one already here, so I think he has done the math.

UCLA, in my opinion, is on a completely different level than USC. I am honestly concerned about that game. Night everyone

Chip changed college football. Chip took three stars, and no stars, to National Championship games. Lanning has a bit to prove before he can be considered better than Chip IMO. But hope you are right!

It was actually my brother two weeks ago. He said UCLA has the best all around team. My family still think that Oregon has most talent, but we’re young. I would LOVE to be in Eugene when UCLA cones to town.

I picked them to be playing in PAC12 Championship.

As a coaching staff the offensive side of the ball gets a high mark. My expectations for our Defense, with our talent, and Lanning’s experience under Kirby, haven’t been realized yet But it’s still early in the season.

Lol. I will vent to my dog next time. I hate Arizona more than most in here hate Washington. I was there with my kid when Arizona demolished Mariota and the Ducks. Kadeem ran over the top of us for over 200 yards. So they ARE the worst team to ever play the game.

California stomped them. Enough said. I’m being grumpy I guess. We have out recruited every team in the pac for several years now. We have 5 stars sitting on the bench!!!! And yet we still have to worry about an Arizona team that should have lost to ND state! And gave up 50 to California. And then I Watched Missouri physically knock the stuffing out of Georgia! And I still see people saying… just wait 3 more years! So we need to have the best recruiting class for a decade in the PAC to ge good? And I am frustrated at the taunting and celebrating I see on the field. Kirby smart is why that never happened at Georgia apparently?

If we lose to the worst team in football tomorrow I’m finished as a Duck. I will throw out all my green and yellow items and become a beaver fan. Baseball is my second favorite sport. Beaver baseball will be my new number 1 passion.
