Despite the double zero score I like one aspect of this offense. The offense added variety that forces the defense to not sell out vs a run up the middle.

As expected the defense under Hampton is starting to look REALLY good, but zero help from the offense. Mehringer needs to be let go if we don't start moving the ball and lose this game.

Offense built around negative yardage. 3 yard passes on 3rd and 12. More turnovers.

It makes no sense not to change QBs. Even if you run the same damn plays, put someone else at the throttle. It gives the defense something to think about - what are they going to do now. Is the new guy more accurate? Can he scramble better? Give them something to wonder about.

we went Power I with #80 the OL lined up at fullback with two tight ends on the line, so the Huskers has 9 men in the box. We ran into it for two yards, you got to check out of that.

We did run GT counter on the next play and blocked it right for a good run

This is difficult to watch. No passing game, no running game and a critical turnover. Our defense is playing well but how long can they hold up? We have seen Raiola play well and then collapse. We have seen Brock Thomas play well and now playing awful. Yes, I am ready for Akili Smith Jr.

If Dk is hurt. I think we should just bring in all the reserves before anyone else get s hurt and hope defense wins 3-0. There is little way the offense could be worse... No no no, don't bring in Akili. He might get hurt...
