Monday at 08:26 PM3 days No. CBS will mean Paramount + for streaming which is a better picture. How Oregon is favored vs Northwestern is beyond me but just shows why I am not a gambler. I would like to know who will be acting as our Offensive Coordinator for this game and I am sure it will come out this week.
Tuesday at 07:51 PM2 days No. Imagine a world where UCLA is in first place in the B1G, and Kentucky is in first place in the SEC.... Oh wait, well imagine a world where Indiana actually is a football power.😬... Well okay. But, Texas A&M and Oregon are both top 10. Surely....🥺 Well Notre Dame is surely overrated as usual..😮💨. Ahh, all is well in the world.Florida can destroy a top five team, and then get blown out by two mediocre ones, only to sandwich that with a road win over Texas. I have no idea what to expect the rest of the year. The ACC is Miami and Wake Forest. The Big 12 is Utah..... and..... Texas Tech got beaten down by a Cincy squad that gave up nearly fifty the week before. BYU followed up their signature win over Notre Dame, by losing in double overtime to a backup QB at three loss UCF.USC scored seven, and lost to a Wisconsin team that passed for 57 yards . Tennessee lost to a South Carolina squad that looked dead in the water two weeks ago. Iowa lost some kind of pig to a forever middling Minnesota squad. Michigan and Indiana played "Who Wants to Score a Touchdown" for five quarters. Why can't Oregon beat Ohio State? Just throw Akili Smith Jr. out there, who knows. As the kid from 'Angels in the Outfield' said "It could happen".That's the mantra of this season.

And GameDay's in Bloomington for the Hoosiers vs. the Gophers? After his trip to Salt Lake City, I guess Pat McAfee needed to head home for a hug. 😁

20 hours ago20 hr Author Moderator No. Thank you, Duck NV. It would ruin the delicious Dixiecrat flavor, but you could include (sigh) Oregon, Michigan, UW, Penn State, and coming soon, USC fans into the mix. Add Chip Kelly in Northwestern gear with a chain saw in hand coming through the front door and not miss a beat. Or, a beat down. Some much needed and appreciated humor. 😁😎😍

It will be a good distraction. However, I will say that Raiola didn’t totally suck the last time he played the Buckeyes in 2024.

If you live in the Palmetto State, it would be great to connect. Duck fan Notalot resides in Greenville. I understand that a game in Columbia is a terrific experience. In 2024, the week before Nebraska played Ohio State, the Cornhuskers were destroyed at Indiana 56-7. Along with the entire team, Raiola no-showed in Bloomington. The following week, with the yet-to-be-crowned 2024-25 champion Buckeyes (sigh) coming off a bye, Nebraska lost 21 to 17, and Raiola had the ball at game's end and came close to producing a huge upset in Columbus. This is the problem we see with Raiola; it's the penthouse or the outhouse. The erratic play from a 5-star experienced QB is hard to understand. Nebraska Cornhuskers OC Dana Holgerson and HC Matt Rhule experienced the good Dylan in the 4th quarter in Autzen, but were not that sorry to see him leave Lincoln.IMO, unless Dan can find a Joe Moore-contending O-line out of the portal, find a dual-threat QB who makes it an 11-on-11 game.

We’re only 2.5 hours from Columbia. Since moving here ten years ago, we have been in search of great CFB atmospheres (within a close drive) that we could explore. We’ve tried our luck at watching ACC football but the CBB-centric NC team’s fans don’t like to stay past halftime. They’re very Beavis-like.So, we’ve adopted an East Coast team with a loyal fan base who fills their stadium no matter how bad their record is. It also helps that they have a feathered mascot (Cocky) and an awesome atmosphere (Who doesn’t love “Sandstorm”?). We typically hit a game or two per season to get our CFB fix. I cannot disagree with the SEC moniker “It just means more”. But, I also realize that they’re no different than Duck fans.

You're living in primo golf country, and yes, it does just mean more, even with the inestimable Steve Spurrier no longer on the Gamecocks' sideline; a place where Augusta National member and USC(E) coach Lou Holtz also roamed. IMO, the person who made the biggest difference in B1G football was Urban Meyer, who headed North from Florida and brought the SEC take-no-prisoners recruiting attitude along with him. With a backup QB starting for Ohio State on Saturday night in LA, ESPN reached out to the 3rd-string QB, Cardale Jones, who won a title (sigh), and I quote: 'Marcus Mariota was an amazing college QB, better than me every day of the week. But every starting O-lineman and four of the backups who blocked for me played in the NFL. Along with 10 starters on the defense. The Bama players were shocked by what we brought South to match up against the No. 1 playoff seed. If I'd played better, the game wouldn't have been so close."Thank you for the reply, Doctor, and enjoy the game. If misery loves company, this season Oregon is shoulder-to-shoulder with A&M. I hope the Gamecocks keep on bouncing back. Norris plays as he has lately, and I like South Carolina's chances against Oklahoma in Norman on Saturday.GO DUCKS!
