  1. Past hour
  2. My TV is appreciating not getting yelled at tonight. I was pretty hard on it last week.
  3. Tuning in late to the game. I'm not surprised about the score so far, hopefully that means overall the team is playing cleaner and not making lazy/sloppy mistakes. Watching the last couple offensive plays, I'm still unimpressed with the OL. They should not be giving up a sack to a team like PSU and the play afterward Iuli got beat on his run block attempt allowing Davidson to go down after only a short gain. Still a lot of work to do.
  4. I'm thinking like this: Less reps makes them hungry. They can go off each other in practice without killing each other. Plus, we're showing what we can do. I definitely don't like that. Mehringer-in my mind-showed his chops. He can call plays - very well. t On the formation penalty to start the second quarter-TE Olesh showed the agility the lineman need (and again showed they don't have). Now I don't necessarily believe teams haven't figured out our OL don't move well (quickly) laterally-but I don't want to show that right now. And we are. That is why I shut things down. Let the scrubs get experience and exposure. As well-they get shown on film who they actually are at present. I realize that exposes depth, but next year they will be playing and getting paid more. If the guys are truly hungry, they will show it next week because they didn't get tonight. I am very unconventional about these things. I don't want to be pigeonholed. You can't catch me if you can't find me. You can't find me if you don't see what I do. Shut it down. Nobody needs more evidence right now. We have shown a career's worth of tells and tendencies the past 12 months.
  5. Yes, you can tell they're excited to play football. I was thinking one of the biggest things I want to see in this game is no penalties, play with purpose, play with discipline, play with energy.
  6. 28-0. Bring in the scrubs. The players made their point. Take away scouting advantages and play vanilla ball PLEASE
  7. It's about execution this game and this team needs reps. And they're playing a hit angry. There is a bit more purpose to how they're playing right now.
  8. I found out this week that Georgia pays its players based on performance. They get paid more when they start, reach designed goals, reach accolades like all SEC teams etc. I wish all teams, in all leagues structured their contracts like that. Market Value is subjective. So is categorized position values. For instance, the Giants refused to pay an obvious upper level performer at RB in Saquon Barkley, then the Eagles paid him. Minnesota rewards a high performing WR (don't even know his name-that's how anonymous his performance was to me) with a ridiculous 180M guaranteed contract. Stupid. I love the Steelers. They paid him by position grade. The dude didn't do anything to make the Vikings a contender. I HATE THAT. If you are marginally making my team better, you go get paid by somebody else. I'll find and develop the guys that will get me my title. All I need is about 14 super dudes. I'll find the guys that crack pads, fill space properly, and take away QB options instead of STARING AT HIM ON PASSING PLAYS (we all know how much I can't stand guys looking at the QB-you're benched on my team doing that). Enough of my soliloquy. I pay for daily performance is what I should have said.
  9. This could get very very very ugly. If I'm Lanning unfortunately for PSU I'm running up the score as much as I can. I'm not slowing down at all until half way into the 4th.
  10. Indo love me some jumbo packages. And a bit more protection to bolster the offensive line is certainly in order.
  11. Was that 3rd down a blitz? Like more than 4 rushers? Did I see that right?
  12. That's who started, they've included some jumbo packages a couple times. PSU QB is limited to say the least from what it looks like.
  13. Anyone able to get a view of the o line tonight? Addison, Utu, Poncho, Iuli and Crader?
  14. Today
  15. Of course, good start. A little frustrated that Dante didn't see the seam route again, but that's nitpicking to the extreme.
  16. I'm sorry if I'm not supposed to be the one to start this one, but I didn't see one, so I thought I would start it.
  17. Im not sure Dante is the type that covets going #1-3 in the draft. Chances are he hooks up with a better team the farther he falls in the draft. Im not sure he would want to even start in his first year.
  18. 52-6 Ducks 3 5 303 Notably, almost no one has picked us to beat the spread (or even come close). That is a first in the history of the prediction contest, and a sign of how far this mess has fermented.
  19. Yesterday
  20. It's on Dante to show up tonight. If he's gonna be the man he now has to prove it to the team, the fans and to himself. This is shaping up as a milestone moment.
  21. I was disappointed the article didn’t mention the ghosts he was seeing out there. Good thing Portland State doesn’t have that many ghosts on their roster. Oregon should be okay this week. 👻
  22. It's a gas, gas, gas! 😁Thanks for the laugh!
  23. Well it sounds like it will medicate the hangover from last weeks Duck Crap! Going frome solids to gasses might just be what the doctor ordered
